Full pelt at the defensive line then dive head first into the ground and play the ball before a finger was layed on him.

The big white fluffy pillow with legs.

watching him get upended, driven back and dominated in a tackle by matt orford is my most cherished memory of troncy, that and running 20m untouched against the dogs at carrara stadium and actually stopping and looking around just before the try line to make sure play was still on before scoring

Mose Masoe looked to have no regard for his own safety at times.
Sika Manu/Jeff Lima in their younger days would look like theyve been fired out of a cannon on some of their runs.

Iafeta Paleaaesina in his prime was an absolute beast.

Paleaaesina was a legit player who left the NRL before he even reached his prime, when he was only 23 (although I note he seems to have fudged his date of birth in recent years so now he was supposedly only 22). He was maturing into a prop who could play good minutes in 2004 but we bought Price and Wiki in 2005 and he was forced to revert back to being a benchy.

I'm probably the 1 bloke in 100 who thinks this, but I always wished we could've kept Paleaaesina and I would've gladly done without Wiki to achieve that.

Josh Hoffman seems to get belted in tackles a lot..

Gordon Tallis I suppose was always good for some punishing hitups.

Manu Vatuvei. Love his big charges on the second or third tackle when he has 2 or 3 blokes hanging off him, you really see how it lifts the crowd and his teammates.

Haha the great Lincoln Withers! That bloke could hit!

Pound for pound must have been one of the biggest hitters in the game.

He f**king poleaxed one of the big Poly blokes (think it was Gulavao in his days at Penrith?) Didn't always work out for him though, remember a few years back Justin Poore had a run at him and laid him out.
