Agree with all apart from Gillett, he hasn't gone too far backwards.

Hornby not so much gone backwards as he's just nearing retirement.

I'd argue Ben Barba has improved from 2011 too.

Justin Poore is another gone backwards. But he has been on the decline for awhile now.

Poore was never good in the first place. Looked good in our 09 squad due to have some awesome meter eaters around him in Smith, Weyman, Costigan and Creagh.

Always just been your average run of the mill club prop. Sums up Parra's predicament pretty well when you consider how much he was purchased for.

Ben Barba would easily be the most improved player in the competition. Previously he's been able to pull off some flashy plays but was poor under the high ball, sloppy in defence and was inconsistent. This year he really is a complete footballer.

Disagree with Jack Reed. He's not doing bad at all this year, but he has been fairly quiet because his halves are giving him less opportunities. His area of the field doesn't even get bombed to much anymore.

As much as I hate him, matt utai has improved immensely over this season.

Was quite possibly the most lolling player in the comp last year and the first few rounds of this year. Now he is a solid winger. Not a great player by any means but going from the comp's court jester to middle of the road winger has been an immense improvement for him.

Utai is and was always immensely talented. Tis his attitude that has cost him from being a great.

Utai was Dally M Rookie of the Year in his debut season.

As for the rest of the Tigers, improvements can be seen in Beau Ryan and Aaron Woods. Adam Blair, Benji Marshall, Chris Heighington, Blake Ayshford, Chris Lawrence, Lote Tuqiri all gone backwards.
