Patient Zero is an interesting inclusion considering he/she is hypothetical at best. A fairly ameri - centric but that is understandable. No mention of Rutherford. Christopher Columbus is way too far up the list and some shouldn't be on there at all. Ronald Reagan? Princess Di?

Saw the pictures. Yes they showed male nudity that was innappropriate to this site. Don't let that put you off. Like Moff said what are they supposed to do? How often does it happen? Not very often. Lighten up and enjoy the great site that it is.

I think Robert Oppenheimer is the only 20th century person on the list that wasn't thought of earlier on this thread.
It would be interesting to break the 100 into categories like scientist, politician, artist, etc. Also to break it down by centuries.

BTW, I watched the last half of the original broadcast of this program when it aired on New year's Eve 1999. Most of you were home watching TV that night too, right?

I don't really care about this oneye stuff, but I thank the mods here for deleting his material. He could still go and post the same stuff on TFS. It would be deleted at both sites; the only difference is TFS would also ban whatever name he used at the same time. Here he can come back with the same name, there he would have to get a new one. The important thing is the deleting, not the banning.

I'd say that the devil made me do it, but this would be exceedingly poor form given that I don't believe in him.

Oneye. You got the reaction you wanted so drop it now. I'm hoping you can be a good sport about this and show some responsibility. Time will tell.

For everyone else (and I hope this doesnt fall on deaf ears)....
If anything offends, simple ignore it. You can be sure that a moderator will be along soon to do something about it. Like a crank phone call, by reacting, you are in effect encouraging the rubbish.

You'll notice that Moffo was on the case in about ten minutes. I'd be surprised if anything overly offensive would be there for more than an hour.
So my only advice is to deny oneye the satisfaction of reaction.
