IMO the better players generally don't make good coaches (Lamb, Pearce, Meninga, Fittler etc) so no surprise to see them mentioned.

Lamb takes it for me. He thought Hoppa giving players on field prostate exams was hilarious.

Of all the great coaches, most of them were run of the mill players - Gibson, Bennett.

Although Churchill and Rayner were great players and great coaches.

What a dreadful coach. From what I hear from a few people involved at the Gold Cost during his "reign" he was cancerous at the club.

Not only bereft of any coaching ability, but a truly divisive, nasty piece of work who had the respect of NO-ONE.
