Ok, after Vouvray's 'flop' in the Caulfield Cup when ridden poorly and with poo tactics from the trainer I am hoping to see her run really well in this...

Mainly because of future doubles I put on real early that have the first legs up and I stand to win a little over $4000 for a very small investment

Tough Race

Cox Plate was a hard run...im inclined to look elsewhere for a winner although Lad is all class

Studebaker hasn't done much wrong so far. Smokey for a place

Yeah I was going to try and go away from Plate runners, but with a field of 10 it lacked depth after doing that.

Although Activation is going well I'm not to sure he has beaten much. Lad was given a poor ride in the Plate and should have placed. With Childs on and if you forget the plate run he has the best form for me... Maybe wasn't a hard as some of the others that come out of the Plate either.

Just a point, 2 of the last 3 winners have come out of the Cox Plate.

Also -

Moody announced in a radio interview today that his mare Vouvray would be ridden back in this race after changing tactics for the caulfield cup.
He admitted they had made a mistake in riding her forward and also she was very disappointing.
The indication was the horse was in need of a hard run to get her fit for the cup so if she is to be any chance in the cup she would have to go very well in this race.
