"The Witches". The film version of Roal Dahl's legendary book.

Don't tell me that the bald witches, with their evil eyes, long noses and long nails didn't scare the sh*t out of every young kid.
yep. f**ked me up good and proper at a young age.

It
Alien and Aliens
The Blair Witch Project
Sapphire and Steel (anyone remember this t.v series?)
Cybermen from Dr Who
Cylons from Battlestar Galactica
Witchypoo from Puffenstuff (there's a blast from the past i dont think many will remember)
Sigmunds brothers from Sigmund and the Sea Monsters.

I have both on DVD...my kid watches Puffnstuff all the time.
Sigmund isn't as popular with him.

I used to love them as a kid.

Killers Clowns from Outer Space freaked me out a little for anyone who remembers that 'classic'.

I must have a thing about clowns.

I'm the same Chook, very irrational but the zombie films give me the creeps.

Probably because they are similar to St George supporters.

Have you tried Diary of the Dead, much better than Land.

Attempted to watch Jaws as a 5 or 6 year old. We were living in Sri Lanka at the time and the cover alone was enough to scare me out of watching it!

The original probably, I was just relieved to see it was an improvement on the awful Land of the Dead.

I watched Child's Play for the first time when I was about 4 years old....

All my sisters cabbage dolls had to be put in the garage and I slept in my parent's bed for about 2 months. I was absolutely petrified of that doll. Even to this day those little kids that stand in the corner freak me out to no end. I have to take their hats off every time I see them to make sure they aren't real

Another movie that scared me senseless was Aliens, however it has a story to go with it. I was watching it all on my own when I was about 10. It was about 7pm at night and my mum had just ducked up the road to pick my sister up from a friend's house so i was home alone. It was the scene where the pilot takes off in their ship to come pick them up, then turns to see an alien screaming in her face...... and at the exact moment the blood sprays across the windshield we had a blackout!!

I ran screaming for my mum out of the house, all the way up the road and into my mate's place

My mum came and got me about 3 minutes later after coming home to a wide open front door and no one home

. Funny story Danish. I had a similar thing with Childs Play. My sister has one of those dolls you could make talk by putting your hand in the back of the head. Tormented me so much I was in a ball on the ground crying.

LOL She must have been worried.

Another one that freaked me out alittle was Candyman.

It was moreso the bit about saying his name 5 times in front of the mirror in order to summon him. Me and my brother would dare eahcother to do it. I tried but could only say Candyman 4 times then i'd chicken out.

I did once say Beetlejuice 3 times and was sh*t scared he'd appear for the next 1/2 hour or so.
