After the past 9 weeks, I have some serious propositions I think the club should consider on the field.

The reshuffling has to stop, its killing us structurally and its destroying any hope of momentum.

So here's my proposal, mixed with succumbing to the fact that certain players just won't be dropped.

1 - Ryan - has proven he can contest and more often than not, catch high balls. He runs back with venom and is great out of dummy half.
2 - Reddy - Sheens has a love affair with the bloke so he won't get dropped. He has a good offload and could possibly play a similar role to Utai.
3 - Ayshford - shown recently why he should be in the starting side, but only in spurts, slowly improving. Big enough to be a solid defender and has a good step. Is also hard to get down.
4 - Lawrence - Leave the kid at Centre. He just started showing an improvement last week. He runs hard and straight and is a good defender.
5 - Tuqiri - Sheens won't drop him, although he deserves to be dumped. However, if he's playing outside Lawrence there's a good chance he may not rush up and in defensively.
6 - Marshall - Natural position, tell the prick to run straight more!
7 - Moltzen - He's more out of harms way here and he won't be getting dropped.
8 - Woods - Brilliant this year
9 - Farah - Given
10 - Galloway - Needs to step up more. Too many times, especially on restarts, he gets the ball and just ambles up. Fire up f**k!
11 - Bell - He's defending at second row, may as well put him there until Ellis returns.
12 - Fulton - Given
13 - Blair - He won't be getting dropped and he's standing wide enough to be centre a lot of the times, just make him lock and get him out of the middle and allow the forwards willing to do some work to be left to their devices. He may prove to be useful acting as a third centre running off Lawrence/Marshall/Moltzen

14 - Cashmere for now. Hasn't done much wrong. Heighington should play from here. He can interchange with Bell. I think Hino with less game time should see him be a much better player and probably run with a bit more venom.
15 - Moors - Can swap with Galloway
16 - Murdoch Masila - Can Swap with Woods
17 - Humble/Chisholm - someone who can cover fullback/wing and halves with a bit of creativity/flair in attack and with some speed.

At least with this squad we wouldn't have massive positional changes every time a benchie comes onto the field.

It does lack pace outwide, but we haven't really got anyone good enough with pace to put on the wings, so we just have to make do with what we have.

I'd love to see Koroibete in NRL, but it's just not looking likely, unless a few of our backs get injured.

I say ... sack Sheens and install madunit as coach. Won't happen though, you make too much sense.

i think all we need go back to humble at 1, moltzen a 7. it wasn't give a fair go.

also, agree with reddy on wing, but would drop tuquiri

as you said mad nut Sheens is not going to drop a few underperforming players so your team has plenty of merit. Not the best team but probably the best team Sheens could hope to pick

That squad to me is still a little slow out wide and we desperately need a backrower with impact. Ellis on the field makes a huge difference.

I don't mind Lawrence at 6. I think it worked well. The problem is Robbie and Benji need to perform better than what they have been.

I think Moltzen at 1 may start to work - he seems to be getting it together.

I'm not sure what the solution is but we need to get more out of Benji, Robbie and Lawrence.

Madunit's squad would work but I fail to see how it gets Benji back into form, Robbie playing straighter and Lawrence getting more space.

Blair is a dud. Lote shouldn't be re-signed.

Lawrence at 6 puts extra pressure on Farah & Marshall. I can't believe you can't see that. Farah had way more touches last night.

Furthermore, Lawrence at 6 doesn't help him and it makes Benji think he has to play a passing game entirely, rendering him useless.

Which means Farah has to play 2 positions. Its a complete clusterf**k and puts our 3 best players in their natural positions all out of position.

And as i said, its not the team i'd pick, its a team I think Sheens could pick given his reluctance to dump shit performers like Moltzen, Tuqiri, Reddy and Blair.

The club has no fast men that Sheens will put in NRL on merit. Which is why they aren't here.

If Sheens is serious Simona will be named at fullback after the Bye.

He has been a revelation, safe under the high ball, quick and tough as all hell.

If Sheens won't blood Koro for Lote I say put Meaney out there or even Hitchcox as both will get the job done and play hard for 80 every week

Is that Jy Hitchcox? Formerly from the Storm NSW Cup?

He wasn't too bad, but quite young then and didn't get a start too often, because he was mostly behind O'Neill, Duffie and L.MacDougall.

just watched a replay of last 10minutes. a few things i noticed:

* when BMM made the break and passed to benji, he had lawrence unmarked on the inside who he could have easily kicked for

* it was blair who put the pressure on rankin which forced the dropped ball.

* also, surely robbie farah was offside on the charge down ;)
