This year he did his hamstring in pre season & again in rnd 3 & was out for 6 weeks.
He has missed over half of the season this year & probably wont play again, if its not right now. he has contributed to a try assist for nearly every game he has played. if Chad, Johnno, & him have 1 each every game, we will win every game.
He was close this week. Might see him against Souths if we win. Hammys are a f**king nightmare.

I agree, and he is a classy player but then he needs to be fit.

Has not been since March, blokes get over ACLs in that time.

Boxes not getting ticked.
Thoughts on burns at souths? Not ticking his boxes?

I do not track Souths players, not sure what you mean.

Maybe he is just too old now, hamstring done for good, torn too badly to recover,.coming back too early?

Whatever, is a passenger this year.

He played almost every game for us last year. I don’t understand hating on a player for having a dodgy hammy.

I’m not his biggest fan but he’s our starting fullback when fit.

Maybe Flanno figured it out last year Moylan is a f/e now in regards to his hammy all the running you need at fullback, works over his hammy.

You can have Moylan at fullback in attack but in defence workload is too much

Ive been on the hate train recently and it's easy to jump to conclusions but What is Moyza's attitude really like around the club and training etc? Is he champing at the bit to get out there and have a go or is he sulking around and not fitting in? Only asking as I have no inner tube connections at all and genuinely want to know what he is like to have around the place.

Why does this question need to be asked?

Because the answer for Moylan might be different for every other player.

I know close family members of Capes and he definitely does not want to leave the Sharkies and is leaving it until the very last second to give the sharks the last say on if he has to go or stays. I hope he stays.

I hope he stays too...sounds encouraging!

He’s a liability when he’s carrying a hammy, which is why he didn’t make it. Ask manly who they don’t want running out the back of the playmakers.
I'm sorry but this whole hammy thing isn't an excuse.
you don't carry a hammy into any game at fullback.
ask dari-arse and bennett.
he's not a fullbacks arsehole because he can't take a bomb under pressure and he won't put his body on the line to clean up on a short kick.
big deal about this ball playing.
he's not even in the black based on the continued mistakes he makes.

Has not been since March, blokes get over ACLs in that time.

ACL 1 Rudy. Just shy of ten months. Another 12 months to get back to full fitness.
ACL 2 Wadeo. Just shy of 9 months Moments of brilliance but his head is playing what his leg can't do yet.. Wont be back to full fitness until next year, as his grade 1 hammy showed.

Hammy 1. Injured grade 2 in week -2 Back 2 weeks later. Played 3 games . reinjured grade 2 out for 6 weeks. Comes back rnd 11 plays before bye. Plays rnd 13,14,15,16, the only time he has strung more than 3 consecutive games this year when he was ruled out by club medics for the Storm rnd17 clash. Came back rnd 18 to cover for Dugan. Out for rnd 19 after ruled out by club doctors. Came back rnd 20 & was KO'd by burgess & failed HIA & missed the following week. Came back in rnd 22 & only lasted 42 minutes before leaving with reinjured Hamstring grade 2-3 with expected recovery time of 4-8 weeks.

I'm just curious to know mate. I'm as guilty as anyone in here to jump on the bloke and say he has been a waste and is no good for the team blah blah blah. But I know there's also blokes in here that get good inside info on what the reality of the situation is.

It wasn’t really directed at you, it was another snipe at Moylan by me.

I gotta give it up!

No more digs...until he plays again & f**ks Up ;)

We look better in our movements when Moylan is there, but our returns from kicks are much better with Dugan.
Right now my biggest issue with Moylan is that we have had some consistency with the team while he's been out.
Our combinations this year have been up and down because of injury.
In my opinion, right now we are better off with Dugan only because we appear more settled.
It's finals, win at all costs.

I suspect he wants to be ( and is now better suited to) 5/8. I’m not suggesting he isn’t injured or not trying when he does play, but seriously believe he doesn’t want to be FB

Some of his errors are pea hearted

Moyza is a gentleman, scholar and thorough professional. He is a leader of men. He is a model citizen and outstanding representive of the Cronulla Sharks.

I for one will not hear a bad word spoken about him.
