Seriously, Matt was or is capable of winning games of footy but sadly he has never quite delivered on his undoubted talent whether at the Panthers or since he signed with the Sharks. We probably got his best which is sad for the Sharks given how much they are paying him.
I really hope he get’s back to somewhere near his best I really do. I always wish the best for former Panthers. I’m just not sure in Matt’s case it is going to happen and for the sake of the Sharks I can’t help but feeling they would be better served without him and having what ever they pay him being spent elsewhere? For the record I have read on here someone suggested he being paid $900K which is ridiculous I’m sure he is paid way less than that but still whatever it is it could be money spent elsewhere which would benefit the Sharks in the long term.
