Moylan / Johnson halves

Am I right in saying it is the first time these two had played in the halves together? Im a Moylan hater...but geez he has that touch of class about him.

I think Moylan no longer has that juice to be a fullback. He is a 6 for me and looked very solid last night. The rules in this new comp suit Johnson a hell of a lot more than they do Townsend. I'd give them a go together for a couple of months at least. They both offer more when the forwards roll on than what Townsend does.

Cowboys made Moylan look a lot better. They did nothing for SJ, kicking and passing ,hopeless. Commentators said he was organising players. Didn’t see it and no evidence of him taking on the defence. He appears very slow. Hot and cold goalkicking.

Johnson's game management is very poor, doesn't run at the line, can read defense like like no other though.

Moyza went out of his way last week to hit big in D.
He was trying yo prove a point to someone.
Team mates?
Media.
Coach.
Himself?
Coolum?

Last night he was probing with the ball.
Thing is he has played tuff 2 weeks in a row and no injuries.

He is our fullback.

It wont happen but Chad should be rested forever. He is useless at this level.
Tracey is our 7.
Johnson is our 6 but he is uselss at the moment. Just useless.

Kennedy did some smart things last night so he takes katoas wing. Katoa gave them 2 tries last nite.

Can't fault Moyza on his game the last two weeks. I'm a hater, but credit to him. Agree on above comments...he can actually defend and does it pretty well. If he can stay on the park for the year, we will be a much better side. SJ looks very old, despite not being 30.

Man, I reckon not many on here wanna be haters. They just wanna see players have a crack and play to their pay packet or exceed the play they get paid for. Those players that don’t, make way for someone who’s performing the house down and creating pressure to get the spot off someone who doesn’t have the ability they have or on the bloke who’s comfortable in his own mind that he can play like shit and won’t get dropped.

Anyone else feel like Moylan was much better in defence? He put his body in front more often than not. Once or twice he pulled back but compared to time gone past he was much better

I definitely saw Moylan more physical in defence. But he really dogged that bomb that fortunately for us the Cowboys players knocked on into each other.

Was really shitty Moylan did that being an ex fullback. If the bomb is landing where you are you make a play you don’t pull back and wait for someone else to make a play. Could’ve been a really costly move.

Moylan definitely looked hungry. Wanted to be involved. Was definitely looking to prove something.

He looks more likely to break the line than the other two crabs.

We all know CT and SJ will end up in the halves again though. So it’s just a matter of does Moylan go back to 1 and do we end up dumping Kennedy.

or does Bomber continue with his Moylan off the bench approach.

Yes, he defended like he was uninjured and prepared to take the knocks on most occasions.

He has to be the 6.

I don't have room for SJ in my team. I'd live with Bubba at the back. He'll get better and hopefully bigger.

Moyza is the one that looks likely to do something or put someone through a gap and has to be in the halves. Wouldnt mind seeing Tracey have a go as his partner but it will never happen. Tracey plays at pace. Wish the other two did.
