I found it interesting that Gallen gave a spray after the game to the boys about doing everything they can to best prepare their body for the tigers game.

Maybe it was because one or two of them haven't been
From what I've heard this may have been the case

If Gal had an injury, he’d be up all night icing it!

Nothing wrong with demanding the same.
Older forum members would remember that in 2001 Adam Dykes injured his knee in the final round against the West Tigers at Leichhardt and he was up night after night icing the knee or sitting with it in a swimming pool. At that time Adam had already signed to play with Parramatta, but he was bloody excited to be playing in the semis for the Sharks and did not want to miss out or let the team down.

Pretty sure he had an op the day after the game. Then spent the week in the pool for the semi

I was thinking the same thing about Dykes - some of the crap he copped from the hill for faults at times makes me cringe when you compare some of the boneheaded plays and lack of commitment shown by this current batch.
Different era? Man I must be getting old

We all are!

I was fortunate to talk to Luke Covell & his dad in the club before the game...I was drinking a schooner with him that he mentioned after the touch game...saying beers before the game didn’t help! ;)

Anyway, I said to his dad, love the passion Luke had for the club, it’s a rarity these days!

For sure.
His reputation for non-professionalism hangs around.
Plus the fact the injury will not get better.
Gal obviously knows and has called him out.

I dont think it matters.
I dont hes a team player and is a selfish coont.
The fact it was gals last home gal wouldve meant absolutely pfharkall.

Strange cat.
