As for some not having access to Echols fights his last two were shown on ESPN (I think)

His fight with Brewer was shown by Fox Sports

SKY Channel have shown one, if not both of his Hopkins fights.

Echols appeared on USA's Tuesday Night Fights a few times too. This was a few yers ago as that show got canned.

All these were shown in Australia without anyone having to go out of their way to see.

Hi El Duque,

True, I have never seen Echols fight. Don't be too critical of our bets. We just do it for fun because I'm a Mundine supporter and Moffo ...is well'anti-Mundine'. hehehe.

Don't write off our Mundine so quickly El Duque. He did take Sven Ottke to round 10 and gave him a serious fright in some earlier rounds.

Plus if I lose the bet, my credibility will be on the line!

El Duque,

The reason Mundine looked crap against Thornberry was because the latter had a chin like a rock and was getting pounded relentlessly round after round.

Mundine also has a knack of catching people with sharp solid shots. I still haven't seen a clip of Echols in action but do you think he will be too slow for someone as fast and balanced as Mundine?

Mundine doesn't seem to have such a bad jaw either. I saw his fight against Sven Ottke and he lost because of over exhaustion - not the little punch he got from Sven.

So El Duque, are you saying Mundine will be KO'd in round 3? Willing to place a bet on it with Moffo and I?

Regards,
Ranson.

Thornberry was not getting pounded relentlessly early and he actually won some rounds.

As for a bet we'll see when fight time is nearer as to who's offering the best odds.

El Duque,

Thornberry may have drawn or even won some early rounds but I couldn't see any sign of him visibly hurting Mundine. The guy couldn't punch, was regularlyput off balanced and he paid for it in the latter rounds.

However you're right. The Mundine -v- Echols fight will draw alot of media attention as we get closer to the event. Personally I can't wait for it.

Regards,
Ranson.
