Mundine V.s. Taylor & Other

There's an up-coming mismatch fight next Wednesday night between Mundine and Taylor.

Taylor is a fighter who shouldn't be in the fight game anymore.
This is further proof that Mundine only fights tomatoe cans!
Mundine'll never get respect in this sport.
He's a mugglare!

In taylor's last fight against The Argentinean he was heard quite clearly saying he didn't want to continue any further and that he had nothing left (how the hell he came out and knocked the guy out I don't know) what do you think Mundine will do to him?
How does Taylor think he can step up from a basic south American fighter to a paper weight fake title holder like Mundine? Sure Mundine has the tools but he never proves himself against worthy opponents.
I say he has to fight The Scorpian if he wants peoples respect.
Mundine reminds me of Tyson in that he fought/fights guys when they were/are over the hill.
Taylor retired some years ago and it's a further insult to the sport of boxing that he's even getting in the ring again.

Taylor doesn't have the stamina and I give him under 5 rounds before he's KO'd into retirement.
You watch him come into the ring all poker faced meaning business but after one round his face will be awash with fear and he don't wanna be in there anymore!
It's funny watching boxing some times and seeing guys coming into the ring then after one round there's fear all over their faces and it doesn't look like the same fighter who entered the ring.
There's too much bluffing in boxing..

I watch the original Rocky the other night and noticed something for the first time.
At the end there in the final round....I dunno...was it a fast round? Like too fast?
It's an extremely short round. Rocky had him then the bell goes.

Darchinian fights that little Mexican cowboy soon too (Jorge Arce?) and I get the impression that Darchinian is going in too over-confident and cocky this time.
This kid can fight! Make no mistake this little guy, Arce, can fight, ok?
I see this going 12 rounds and Arce winning on points or a draw.
Darchinian is fooling himself this time.
It's gonna back fire as he's opened his mouth too much this time.
He's walking into a trap and not even knowing it.

What's even more interesting is in May Hatton has agreed to take on Manny Pacquiao.
This is a good fight! I wanna see this fight.
This is a fight that interests me. Not De la Hoya, Shane Mosley or Margorita....I wanna see this fight. It's too early to callthis one so i'll sit on the fence.
There's too much sh*t in boxing.
Boxing needs a clean out of hasbeens.

Tonight we have live boxing I believe on fox 2? Big Time Boxing am I correct?

I'll switch from cricket to boxing.

Where'd Bowie Tupoe go in Australia?

I was going to ask someone what has Taylor been doing. Other than a report he has been seen around the illawarra off his chops just before this fight ive heard not much about him for a long time.

He is the one who had an early title shot against a big name (which is annoyingly escaping me right now) and got demolished in the 2nd round yeah?

Tyson was the youngest heavywieght in history wasnt he.....how could he have fought them earlier?

The shame of Tyson came after the buster douglas fiasco, the rape then followed by the crazy sh*t he went on with in his comeback fights.

He fought Mosley ages ago.. Got caught with a good one right on the 10 second bell and never really recovered

Taylor is done and his best days were years ago at 147

don't be surprised if he gets himself DQ'd

it was the body shots he couldn't handle

It was a while ago so i can't quite remember.. I recall him getting knocked down with that punch and it was just a matter of time from there.

I don't recall that much more of it..

he recovered from that quite well but Fenech stopped it after Taylor was buckling over from body shots 4 or 5 rounds later

You would argue with me even if i was 100% correct wouldn't you ED..

I dispute he recovered that well from the punch on the bell but i do recall a hook to the body that had Taylor in a lot of trouble some rounds later.

Of course it was.. He wasn't hurting from it still but he didn't want to wear another one..

Which part of his body was openly exposed ensuring he didn't?

Not that it matters, he was never seriously a chance of winning that fight as he isn't this fight..

He shouldn't even be in this fight to be honest.

he was always prone to a right hand as was evident in his next fight with Holland

he had completely recovered from the shot in round 1

I think everyone in the Illawarra/South Coast is praying for a Taylor win. It won't happen but one punch slipping through and anything can happne.

Taylor is a hero down here. When some young guys crashed into a gas pipe at Unaderra, 4 of them died as the car exploded into flames. before it did, Shannon Taylor luckily was there, punched a window in and helped the only survivor out. He didn't go gloating to the media as well. The guy has the respect of the people, something Mundine will now never have.

Go back and check out Tyson's career and what ages he fought most of his opponents.
No, never mind..just get a gander of this.....look! Tyson was never a great fighter alright? When he fought for the title and beat Burbick let me break this down for you about Berbick. (who later went on and shot someone in Hawaii??) Berbick fought Ali.....get what I'm saying?
Tyson also fought Holmes when he was 90! Did he fight Foreman?
Tyson is a chump f**k who I have no respect for.
He weren't no great champion he was a mugglare!
Wow he was in crocodile dundee 4 whoopdee doo.
Tyson= punk=rapist trash!

Look at when Tyson fought Green, the much younger opponent - apparently Green won that fight. He was younger and taller and Tyson couldn't land on the swift moving chap.
Tyson is/was a tomatoe can.

This sunday Darchinian and Arce go at it and I was watching the Paperview channel last night and they were showing old Darchinian fights, I saw something that concerned me.

Darchinian is telegraphing that left bolo type punch.. It deserves to be countered with an uppercut-knock-down in return. Hasn't any opponent been made aware of this, don't they watch the tapes?
He can also be reckless at times and leaves himself wide open when throwing this wild left.
The whole body is there to be targeted when he opens up like this - chest- face- chin and body - any counter could land if you slipped under/avoided that left and came back at him.

Arce needs to take a leaf out of the Mayweather/Hatton book and draw Darchinian outside the ring and into that awaiting uppercut when he's bullrushing in.
(Still can't believe Mayweather turned it up and used his left against Hatton. I never saw that coming and never calculated it into my equasions! Didn't cover all bases that time, drats!)

The left is all Darchians got really and is rather one-dimensional when you look at it. Watch 3 or 4 straight Darchian fights and watch the same style.
Any smart/clever fighter can see to avoid his left.
He'll throw in short sharp bunches mainly with the right using it as a feeler then he puts his all into that left.
His right is actually useless.
So what he pressures you like Hatton - you can use this against a fighter like that. A body shot can take a lot out of a fighter of this calibre. Jab, work your way around, slow the tempo down. Stick and move.....let him come to your uppercut when the time is right.

Darchian can be knocked out with an uppercut.
It's right there.
He moze-well have a sign on him that says real estate for sale all here!

I woke up this morning and something was bugging me...Arce has a record that reads 50+ fights...one thing....is Darchian the younger fighter? Can age play a part in this? I wonder if Arce is washed up?

I've just found out that my pub didn't purchase the fight so I'm unable to watch it.
The hell if I'm paying for it.
Drats.

Now I'll have to rely on fox news press the red button for updates.

Arce is huge odds on sportsTAB they practically don't give him a chance.

Arce has to KO out Darchian.
Why then did I just place 10 quid on Arce by points at 13-1?
Arce by KO is 5-1.

Brett Gaddes is brought to you today by U.V. Triple guard.
Frig summer!
Frig today!

I'm at the TAB it's 42 degrees our new hot water valve blew up this morning god damn it.

I'm here to back either the draw $29 or either fighter disqualified $34 for the Darchian Arce fight.

I already backed Arce by points.

I dunno.....Acre has to KO Darchian - it's only 5-1.
I'm kidding myself if this fight goes the distance. One of these guys are gonna knock out one another I don't know who.

There's a stopage in this fight.

Some one's going down in the 10th or 9th round in today's fight.

It's a shame I can't watch it! We were billed five bucks recently for ordering a movie and if we were to buy this fight it would sky rocket our bill I'm not paying to see it!

P.S. God damn it the betting is closed on the fight so I've only got my Arce by points bet going.

I was gonna back Arce to KO whatshisname in the 9th and 10th.
It's only 2pm the fight card only started not long ago.
Oh well I'll just buy some beverages and ice creams. Grape Gatorade.
Hmmm.

Watch for Darchinan to be uppercutted and knocked out.
Box Darchian don't let him dictate his jab jab left bombs.
Are fighters scared of him?
They're waiting for him to go first.
No one takes the initiative to Darchian I've noticed.

I have been out on the turps with taylor, He is a top bloke, I was surprised actually because I heard so many bad things about him, he is a champion bloke, I would love to see him get a hit in that puts mundane on his ass, wont happen though, Mundine will tap and run till taylors fitness runs short and then go in for the kill.

Arce was slower than Marc Bagero with his uppercuts.
One of your best Brett.
