I think penalty would have been enough and I'm not fussed it wasn't. Flanagan was nowhere near a scoring opportunity and the contact was a lazy arm over the shoulder.

Also that f**kwit Fijian merkin cat smashed a bloke from behind down the southern end.
He was chasing a kick that was well over the sideline.

As a Storm supporter I agree this deserved a penalty at least, no question. I would much rather our boys didn’t pull this crap, frankly it’s embarrassing as well as poor sportsmanship. Players get away with this nonsense in most games, but refs can only call what they see I suppose.

Melbourne are the most blatant at holding down and should be penalised a lot more. They have gone back to 3 players in tackles, each defender peeling off individually, just about every tackle.

It is very obvious when watching live they slowed it consistently down more than the sharks.

But its on the refs to ping them and smash them in a few lopsided penalty counts, not the storm to change their ways ‘for the good of the game’.
