Music programmes on the radio...Which do you listen to?

Figured this might be an interesting question to ask.....do many of you guys listen to much radio anymore with the advent of mp3s and whatnot......and if you do, what music programmes do you listen to?

Lately i've been reacquainting myself with Triple J and their specialist shows that start at 11pm.....namely Full Metal Racket which can get grate a little when they choose to play a majority of the stereotypical style of metal which is usually indecipherable noise - but then again, they do play some Australian metal acts which is awesome......Short, Fast, Loud on Wed nights isn't too shabby at all - hardcore, punk - and anything inbetween, its a great show which gives you something to jump around to and always has cool new bands from around the world featured on it - i.e. 4ft Fingers, KILLER PUNK band from Ireland, KILLER!

After that foray into the major stations i stick with the community stations, i mean, 100.9 BFM is pretty cool on Tues nights at 10/10:30 for Loud, a cool metal show which actually features a huge range of styles of metal - which is more accessible if you're just new to the metal genre

Anyways, how about you guys?

95 BFM - Tuesday morning 1 am (NZ time) Nocturnal Dominion which plays mainly death and black metal hosted by Heath from the black metal band Skulldom.
And i listen to House Of Noizz on thursday 11.30 pm which plugs a wide range of stuff from trad metal to chessy power metal to the extreme stuff.

When I'm driving WSFM shall be on. Triple J shits me to tears these days and Triple M has for a long time.

I occasionally listen to Full Metal Racket but it's not as good as I remember it to be. They weren't even playing metal last time I switched on, more hardcore type stuff.

So no, I rarely listen to radio

When I'm at home: CDs or mp3s. Same in the car (got a stereo that does mp3) although I listen to JJJ quite often, though not so much for the music (although I don't mind their playlist)

I spend more time listening to music in the car (to and from school). I just wanna hear music now-a-days so i swap between todayfm and the edge. I don't have a huge CD colection either, cuz i hear the songs all too often.

The radio is on allll day at work. Start the day off with the Cage on Triple M, carry on through until the end of the 90's at 9. Then I flick over to WSFM because Mick Molloy shits me to tears, and I flick back to MMM at 4 for the Whole Shebang.

Radio is gay. I did listen to 3 Hours Of Power a few years ago though. It provided the soundtrack to many Friday nights at home doing tech assignments.

Sometimes I'll have Rush (on Nova) on in the car when I'm driving my girlfriend home, and I don't mind it sometimes, but yeah...

I listen to Triple J, The announcers and their playlist is second to none in this country I believe and they provide the right mix for a perfect listen, Its also the best way to hear baout some good young up and coming local acts!

I want to get into radio after school, so I pay close attention to it all, and try to listen to it as much as possible, altough when im on the computer I have iTunes playing with over 600 songs to choose from!!!
