Wooo! What you have all been waiting for the Muts fearless Predictions for 2007...

1. Bulldogs - In a stunning development Willie Mason and Ray Hadley will both be revealed as celebrity contestants on Big Brother. Whilst soaking in the hot tub after an alcohol fueled night Ray will apoligize for all the angst he has caused Willie in the past. This apology will be accepted with Willie asking him the pull his finger. Willie will go onto win the TV show with all his winning going to the Oasis development charity fronted by long time friend Gary McInteyre. Corey Hughes will be up on assult charges for storming a school bus after a year 1 student blew him a Rasberry. Malcom Noad will release the player saying that such behaviour will not be tolerated at the club.

2. Broncos - After taking the World Club challenge 156 to 0, the Broncos season hits a snag when developments murmur that Wayne Bennett has agreed to a handshake deal to coach the Umina Rabbits in 2008. This is just the steal the Broncos need to get the season back on track. Karmichael Hunt is charged with headbutting a metre maid after the Broncos win over Titans. Hunt was not released from the club unlike last years offenders and a double standard was identified by many pundits. They were then corrected when the articles of the company stated that players that are in fact Australian Representative and not surpurfluous to the organisations requirements are invloved in misdemeanors off the feild they will not be made scape goats.

3. Storm - After the team without a home or supporter base cruised into GF in 2006, many tipped big things in 2007. Unfortunatley it was not to be. With average crowds of 6,000 worry was rife but the killer blow was reached when the owners of Olympic Park double booked the stadium with the AFL Legends Charity Soccer Game. As such the Storm had to relocate the game to Molly Meldrums back yard where the 500 off metrosexual man cramped dressed in black in his back yard did not bother the man at all. One side used the garden shed as a dressing room whilst the Storm Molly strsssed had to get changed in the bedroom.

More to come...

4. Knights - With the preseason and opening few games being disrupted by the long overdue marriage of Andrew Johns the Knights slipped up early on. But andrews new bride, Matthew Johns was on hand to teach young up and comer Jarred Mullen the ins and outs of what it takes to be successful. Jarred said 'Joey has really fine tuned my game, he has helped me with diplomacy with the referees and the fine art of mouth guard throwing. Yelling at team mates when we are not winning. He has been fab.' The idea was first hashed in some pillow talk with the Johns brothers, which would explain why Chief Harragon had the scoop on the new Thursday Night NRL Variety 95 Minute Show.

5.Dragons - Wes Naquima retires from the game mid season at the bequest partner Paulini to concertrate on his efforts in the final 12 of Australian Idol. Although he cannot speak much English he has a fine soprano voice that helps win over the Australian public. The pre-season sacking of Nathan Brown has went down a treat too. The reason for the boards decision was that he could not win a comp with all his stars, how will he win one without them? Brown was replaced by perrenial Dragons fav Laurie Daley whom spys tell me have seen Brown with Tugger Coleman spying on the training sessions at WIN Stadium in recent days. They both really need to let go. Laurie is also dating Browns ex wife and will adopt his children...

6. Sea Eagles - After 13 minutes of the 1st game of the season new signing Jamie Lyon quits the club. In a press release he states he has lost the passion for the game and is going bush with his family. The highlight of the season would be the try saving tackle from Geoff Toovey. Although the trainer and no right to be on the feild, Toovey felt it was his duty to stop Brett Tate from winning the game when he flew from the sideline and took Tate out over the cornerpost. The referee who felt compelled blew his whistle and awarded Manly the scrum feed as the siren rang grabbing a 12-14 win.

7. Eels - After years with the Knights Hagan found the going tough at his new home with no Andrew Johns to either coach the side or fall back to in regards to game plans and tactics. 3am phone calls from Hagan to Johns asking what patterns the Eels should run reached a climax when Hagan called Johns the night before their clash against the Knights. Johns advice was obviously incorrect as the Knights ran out 56-0 winners and Hagan getting the sake. Ina press release Hagan states he was more of a player manager than a coach and always liked his players to do their own thing. That probably explains the Bathurst debacle.

8. Panthers - After a poor decision that cost the Panthers a win against Manly captain Gower bit the chin of referee Bill Harrigan in his come back match to the competition. hollywood as he is known is sueing the Penrith captain for $1 million for missed revenue as his physical appearence is now costing him in the lucrative Lowes Comemrcials Market. Gower as he was sent off bit a 17 year old cheerleaders chin aswell causing uproar. New Coach Matt Elliots dry humor was to the fore in the press conference when he said he 'Just wished people in the game could these things on the chin...'

9. Roosters - With the sharks releasing Brett Kimmorley after 2 rounds Chris Anderson was the first to offer him a new home as youngsters Pearce, Soward and Lewis are sacked as they brought a poor 'culture' to the club that Noddy could rectify. Tradegy struck though as after 10 rounds the Roosters had 15 of their top 25 injured all due to the hospital passes Kimmorley offered in their 'flat attack'. Anderson was adament that the Roosters culture was to blame and after his sacking took up the post of the Newcastle Jets soccer team. Anderson has always been interested in soccer he said. The Jets new signing Brett Kimmorley is looking forward to the A-Leagues start...

10. Souths - After a spritley start to the season injuries forced club owner Russell Crowe to donne the famous red a green at 5/8 against the Knights. Russell was pivotal in the Souths 8 - 2 point lead but after the break the Knights ran over them 26 - 8. This could of been due to Russell being late on the ground by 20 minutes as his band 'Ordinary Fear in God' played the half time entertainment. Either way Russell was on hand to award MOM award after the game to Jarred Mullen whom Russell than suggested could get a break in Hollywood if he were to sign with the Bunnys next season.
