Hodgson
Mears
Kerr

for mine.

Special mention to Halatau and Fulton. Fulton was outstanding - he was hitting the line so hard and I think he really saved our bacon in doing so early on in the 2nd half.

3 - Hodgson : safe at the back, electrifying in attack. Buy of the year.

2 - Laffranchi : non stop effort, gained valuable metres, crunching defence.

1 - Mears : damaging running from dummy half, gave his halves a lot of quality ball, worked hard in defence.

Also,
Kerr : good kicking game, organised the forwards well, good inside balls to running forwards.
Halatau : ran onto the ball without fear, gained valuable metres with straight hole running. Close to a starting spot soon.
Fitzhenry : came into 5/8 when Benji was down in confidence, provided stability at crucial times, made several good runs from dummy half.
Sattler : tackled his heart out, non stop effort, provide leadership and slowed to play down by constantly talking to the ref (smart man ;-) )

3 Hodgson - This bloke is an absolute machine! So safe at the back and is always making line breaks and half breaks! Best buy of the year by far!

2 Mears - Top game and awesome running from dummy half. This bloke put us back into the game setting up the last 2 tries of the first half. Amazing dummy half scoots!

1 Kerr - Under alot of pressure to fill in the role of halfback seeing as prince wasn't playing and he handled it extremley well. His kicks were dynamic and considering he was called up to play on game play, he was ready.

Other players who played good were Dene Halatau (This bloke just keeps running straight no matter what! ), Skandalis, Boof, Sattler (Top games as always) and Fulton who handled it well as a rookie.

Overall, Well done to all 17 players who played out there tonight! Played with alot of passion and heart coming back from 12-0 to 18-18 in the first half, and out scoring the bulldogs in the 2nd half!

Hodgson was with out a doubt the best player on the field..

I thought the halfback had a great game for a new comer and then Laffranci.. busted his gut all night

Hodgson, Mears, Boof (god its great to have him back) and Kerr (great WT debut) - Hodgo deserves the 3 points but you can pick your order for the rest.

Like the others I think special mentions are in order for Fulton who had a strong debut and Dene who just keeps getting better and better. Both played well above their weight
