Not that I think they will listen, the years have shown this is a group of poor decisions makers who listen to no one.
Sharks Board,
Over the years the Board has continually shown its inability to make informed decisions of value for the Sharks brand. Standing Shane down I feel is the single most powerful and damaging decision that could've been made in recent days, there is nothing to gain but plenty to lose. If you hired Shane because of his business management skills then you are all out of depth and should not be decision makers in a football club. If you employed Shane for his ability to coach football skills and to motivate and influence a group of young men then great, standing the man down for perceived lack of management acumen that would've picked up this highly contentious topic then again, the decision making of the board is at the very least consistently poor.
The Board must show that they have some semblance of good business acumen and some level of emotional intelligence by reinstating Shane Immediately, no one in the community will question this or see it as a bad decision, quite the opposite actually.
The young men at our club must have their leader that they trust and care for, he will be the only man who can pull these men together to ensure they get through this as best they can.
If someone of apparent knowledge has informed the decision to stand Shane down then I challenge the board to show for the first time that you have the courage to make a good decisions without relying on outside influence The Sharks will never recover from this if the board doesn't take an immediate stand and show the rugby league community that this club is a club that's stands by its people, reinstate Shane immediately. If Shane is not back coaching tomorrow the club will lose a host of recently acquired talent and we will,never again be able to attract and retain talent.
Please listen Cronulla Board, for the first time in a long time make a tough decision but an essential one that is of value to the future of this club.
