I thought I would post something positive.
Its my b'day soon and my dear ol ma wanted to get me a new footy jumper.
She saw in the leader they had them on special for 40 bux at Pauls warehouse. (Nothing against Paul's I'm just a paranoid sole )
However being the astute woman she is she could smell a rat so she rang them and asked for more info. Turns out they are last years model , no good for my boy she would've thought and then gets quoted about $ 165.00 for the new one and the guy says hurry they only have one of my size left. Hmmmm?
So she asked me to go and get it . I'm suss right from the get go and a little superstitious. I get half way there and I have this very uneasy feeling about giving my mum's money to these guy's.
The fact that the joint is a dragon fans spit from the OKI DOKI POKI PARLOR was wearing heavy on my mind.
I felt my new jumper could be jinxed so I did a bit of right hand down and headed out to Shark Park. I got there amongst the renovations and chaos . I placed my order with the lovely lady at the reception , after a bit of panic when she couldn't find the keys ( to what I can only imagine is the Sharks Shangri la of footy paraphernalia ) that is. She gave me my new jumper then she asked if I was a member which I am and bang here's a discount for you sunshine.
So there you have it , things looked bad at first but after some toiling I climbed that mountain and I am now the owner of a brand new XL unjinxed Sharkies Footy Jumper @ a discounted price.
