Frenzy.

Nod will kick a match winning kick. I don't know what sort. Might be a field goal. Might be a kick for a try. Might be a penalty goal or conversion. The crystal ball needs a service though.

It's all he'll do but he'll do it.

That brethren is my prediction

I'm in Victoria so don't get the game until 9:30pm. If anyone in NSW and is (shamefully) not at the actual game, any thoughts on how Noddy is going thus far?

Noddy is kicking better tonight than he has for us all year, tackling like a machine. Not running with it much. Bird only got the last 5 minutes but looked dangerous. Matt King and Lyon are playing like busted arses.

Include Cooper in the 'invisibles'

At halftime, I am prepared to say that NSW are gone. Our forward pack is an absolute disgrace. The whole lot of them need to pull their fingers out and step up big time.

Noddy going ok and Bird's had no game time.

Nod : 7/10

Blues 3/4 line is pathetic.

Stewart was great.

Ryan and Hindmarsh: Did they even play?

Murry is a f**ked coach for origin, why put bird on only for two 10 minute bursts???

Only got to see the last 20 minutes (bloody pregnancy classes), but I thought our forwards looks so weak.

I saw Price take a HUGE dive, when someone touched his leg, he was up in the air and on his back. Bird tried to punch on with Price, after price threw a punch in a tackle. Obviously some colourful language from the Birdy.

Noddy looked ok. Bird looked a bit flat in his last stint, but then made a nice pass. There doesn't seem to be much cohesion on our team.

Anasta stifled out attack...our pack was worthless...three-quarters were woeful...we threw no options at them and were hugely disappointing considering how much we dominated.

Noddy though, was pretty good. Great kicking game, excellent defence and tried his itty bitty heart out...but lacked creativity and had no options following him up. If I were him, I'd be filthy with the rest of that team...they were never there. Nod needs a creative 5/8 outside him to balance out his lack in that department...but he did enough to earn his spot for Game 3.

All I saw was his standard inside pass ... a bit predictable.

wow ... just experienced a strange moment. I was actually enjoying listening to something Gould had to say for 10 seconds.

I agree. Bird and Mason were the only two that even looked remotely like cracking the line. Both underused.

Anasta. Don't get me started. Add him to the invisibles too. Couple of ineffective kicks, that's it in attack. We need a 5/8 that can actually create chances for the outside backs.

Noddy. Awesome kicking game. 9/10. Where has that been the last few years. Still no line breaks, try assists etc. Stuart needs an attacking 5/8 next year or we're going to have major problems. Still, led us around the field superbly, awesome kick chase, great defense. Best game I've seen from him in years. Should be good for the Sharkies going forward.

Gotta say too. Great game from Hayne (the ref). Why the heck can't he ref like that every week, rather than being the hometown hero and blowing the pea out of his wistle each week?!

I wasn't impressed with Hayne.

Notwithstanding the forward pass try.. I think he was shocking to both teams.

The play the ball and the ruck wasn't policed at all and it killed the game.

IMO.

NSW lost through lack of determination across the board. You simply cant have 4 or 5 players on ya team playing origin footy, while the rest sit in the corner knitting.

You had weak spots across the park...For a coach not to play Bird..(who is on fire in the NRL)..for any more minutes then he did...especially on debut and wanting to impress while so many giving less than impressive efforts is amazing.

NSW biggest problems were decisions made by the coach...and a lack of fire. Which may also be contributed to the coach.

BK...impressive....no need to bag him for the game...he played well although the inability to score points once in the red zone is a worry. If he can't do it with players of that calibar, not sure what ya need. But at least he will come out knowing he id well so no bruised confidence.

Better that though IMHO than a succession of penalties. Let the game flow, much more enjoyable as a spectator. Besides, the lack of creativity from both teams killed the game. Can't really blame the ref for that

Shayne Hayne butchered the match.
Never let him near a SOO game again!!
It was just a free for all with the rules.
Just do what you want.
The markers were hardly ever straight.

There was a forward pass with Queenslands second try at least 2metres forward.

N.S.W forwards were piss weak once again.
As for Lyon I don't think he'll be there for SOO3.
Absolutely useless.

Anasta was once again the most overated player ever to wear a rep jersey.

Kimmorley considering the dopey lazy merkins around him still looked reasonable.
Probably one of the blues best.

Bird was under utilised, I guess Murray thought the team was going really well and didn't need to bring him on????????

Oh and Murray, one more SOO for your coaching career and then it's:nwave:

Only if you were supporting NSW.

From a Queenslanders point of view...........he was disgraceful.
The headshot on D-Lok in the first 10 minutes was a shocking decision to let it go and that was just the start from a thouroughly biased ref. Hope we get to pick the ref for the SOO3 and Bobby Fulton(where's the cement truck) has nothing to do with the choice. Shayne the Payne obviously played right into Fulton's hand and should be dismissed to PL this weekend and Fulton should be run over by his own cement truck.
I thought Hartley was a cheat and a Manly cohort. I'm just happy a Queenslander didn't hit the Manly players Stewart or Kite with the same head high stiff arm as D-Lock got, pain would've sent him off.
