I thought Peterson was head nd shoulders above the rest tonight. That disallowed try was bordering on genuis. He has 2 in front of him within 2 feet of the line, with no momentum. He managed to get it over!

His allowed try was also the act of a fine finisher. Fa'afili's no mug player, and Sideshow got the better of him tonight.

Stapleton also tried hard, nice stripwhen we needed it.

The rest were various shades of sh*t - from just plain inefective (Hopkins/Tsoulos/McKinnon) to utterly friggin pathetic (Graham).

And yes, despite the swarms of Smith lovers that will no doubt find more ways to prise him tonight, our coach should be sacked. The players who were out there are having their careers sacrificed by a coach who can't get forwards to hit the line hard, or to offer decoy runs, or to run angles. Our most effective attacking options involved 1) give the ball to Sideshow, and 2) wait for God to being a monsoon so the Warriors would drop the ball.

Bugger me, 10 points down with 10 to go, and we do 2 consecutive kicks on tackle 1!!!!!!

Tsoulos is a 21st century Greg Drake. He's the size of a huge mountain, and moves like one as well!

Wagon is a waste of space. His inly contributrion to the side is when he makes 50 tackles in a game. he has no other skill, apart to impersonate a stunned llama!

Thorman has all the skills. Pity no one knows WTF he is doing!

Hopkins is rubbish.

Witt is a loooong way from being a first class halfback - although without forwards, no halfback could hine.

Ashley Graham is useless and has contributed absolutely nothing since his return. He occupies a spot on the field. The same could be achieved by putting a chair in his place!

One positive, the boys tried hard. However, with a game plan as technically up to date as a Commodore 64, they have buckleys!!!!!

Tonight we kissed 2004 goodbye.

Write of 2005 while you are at it. Brian Smith has lost whatever skill and ability he once had. He is a dud.

Parramatta suffers while he is in charge!

I would say that is a fair analysis, but I thought Thorman was your best player tonight.

Yes Thorman was on fire in that first half wasn't he.....

- cut out passes that hit the man on the chest (shame it was the opposition man - who proceeded to out run him to the other end of the field)

- and then there was the "watch them run by" approach to defense and Villasanti ran by well within reach, but why bother wasting all your energy tackling so early in the game.

I personally think u need thorman as your halfback, and need to give some more time for witt to develop in premier league, altho ur pack needs to stand up, until ur pack has some mongrel and go forwrd ur halves aint gonna do nethin.
one thing tho i think ur pack will be much stronger next year, look:

Cayless
Riddell
Vella
Afamasaga
Hindmarsh
Robinson
Wagon
Cannings
Armit
Stapleton

You have an alright pack and if it can fire should be a marked improvement in your go forward next year. I dont think Thorman will be there next year, though i think under the right coach could be a terrific player, so your halves could be a combo of either Morris, Witt, and Dykes. This is unless Morris continues playing hooker under Riddell.

I wouldn't f*** any players off.

Its the coach that had full control over who came here, and its the coach that has control over the style of play and level of motivation.

I keep the players, and get rid of Smith.

8 years and going backwards.
What an achievement. @ Smith.

I agree.

We cannot simply let's piss off "such and such" and "what's his name". Get behind the club and support the side you guys. The players are now part of Parramatta, you support the club, you should be supporting them too. Those who say we should get rid of Cayless should get a life, that's a deadset joke. We need players like that to keep our side alive. If it was up to some of you guys, you'd trade the entire players in and swap them for better ones. If that's the case, why not just trade Parramatta in and support a different club. It's a hell of a lot easier.

Exactly, which was my point, unskilled players trying hard don't win football games

Well said Eels Dude, whoever pulls on the Blue and Gold I will always support, if there form drops they still have my support as long as they play for Parramatta. Like all things in life form is only temporary.

Fo those Bandwagoners Sydney City are always looking for supporters

Not a bad point, if you concede that a better coach would make them better players. This I believe strongly. Blokes like Burt, Morris, Dykes could be rep players under the right coach.

Smithy outsmarts himself and thinks he is god- well for 3 years in a row he ahs failed big time!

Get rid of -B Smith
-Rod Reddy
-all his staff
then buy- good halves-eg. Joe Williams, Russell Aitken

Peter Sharpy as coach.
