They should be punished for that - it should have been played in the restaurants so their customers could hear and see what they're really like.

Fran was honest. They had no right to bitch about her just because she was running a better restaurant than them. They acted like high school girls - Fran is a much more mature person, so is it any wonder Fran did not want to hang out with them the night before?
