Right - the question is simple

Name 5 events anywhere on the planet that you would go to if money were no object and you could get in

Do you yearn to see Serena Williams in hot pants?
Do you wish you could see rich men on horses hitting balls with a mallet?
Does the thought of Accrington Stanley away to Rochdale in the Johnston Paint Trophy have you dribbling jizm in your undies?
What about camel racing in Karachi?
Maybe you'll stay in Oz and go for the dogs in Dapto
Or maybe you'll be predictable and say the Super Bowl....

Whatever your sporting wet dreams are post them here

My wish list

* An NFL game - preferably in Seattle, Atlanta, New York, San Fran, Oakland or New Orleans. But really I'd go anywhere
* Wimbledon - I lived in the UK for 22 years and didn't go once. Silly me.
*Super League game in the UK - Warrington v St Helens or Wigan or the Hull derby or Leeds v Wigan or Saints
* Saturday May 16, 2015 West Ham v Everton - Boleyn Ground, Upton Park. West Ham play their final ever Premier League game at the Boleyn Ground before moving to the Olympic stadium. It would be so emotional but it would be amazing to be there.
* Detroit Tigers finals series MLB game (or any major finals series game of MLB)

(honourable mention - the Highland Games. OK, so it's a bit daft, but watching Scotsmen in skirts throwing trees up a field while everyone gets smashed on single malts has to be done once in your life)

I'd also like to be brave enough to go to Upton Park or the New Den when West Ham play Millwall

But I value my life far too highly and will never do that

Old Firm game at Ibrox or Park Head would be amazing
I've been in the away end at Ibrox (Glasgow Rangers ground) and that was terrifying
I was with Kilmarnock supporters and none of them would have lent a hand to stop a pom getting battered had it kicked off

4 tour de France

1. Watching paint dry
2. Watching two flies race up a wall
3. Watching grass grow
4. Waiting for global warming to happen
5. Waiting for the world's first honest politician to be elected

Those five things are way more exciting than the Tour de Pounce. Lycra clad tossers....

As much as I love SBS, it pisses me off that normal programming gets shafted at the expense of this wankfest.

Watching it on TV, maybe so. But being there would be a whole new experience

The atmosphere, the occasion

I reckon it would be an amazing thing to witnes.
Plus it is one of the hardest events on the planet. You have to be seriously fit to compete.

I am not a massive cycling fan but I like both the tour and the hell of the north (the cobblestone race) for the events that they are... both the sport and the sideshow..
and both go through parts of France, Belgium etc That I really want to see..
