no offense duggan was awesome in toyota cup, monaghan made the australian squad and Graham on the wing with hi skick chase on the fly, then carney with his rampaging run and not to mention campese

who would you have then ?

yeah that would be woeful
i meant milne

Joe will be a starting 2nd rower , more than likely play close to 80min per game and also play every game barring injury and rep honors.

I also dont think Dugan will get a run in FG so early in the year. JC and Monas will be the centres and Flying Phil and Purts will be the wingers.

Thurling wont start the game either , Joe will with Thurling on the Bench , its who you drop will be interesting, this will depend on injuries but may depend on the opposition .
Its not easy picking a team , there is a few combinations especially with the depth in the forwards. Good luck D.Furner

Picker will be there fo' sho', but Dugan in the centres is actually an interesting proposition.

Let's remember that Mullins started his FG career on the wing and played a decent amount of footy in the centres before going to fullback after Badge retired. Dugan is an awesome runner of the footy, with great footwork and the ability to offoad. With the ability to set his winger up he also has a nice short kicking game (like Graham) and is a pretty damn good defender for a guy his build.

I can actually see that working if Milne continues his good form at the back. The question is whether we'd be better off with Dugan at 1 and Milne on the wing.

Sure I would have Picker in the team during the season or even the next week though I believe you can only improve by putting in young players that may show signs of brilliance once in first grade.
The problem is if we leave it too late then some other club will pick up players like duggan and fensom
Waddell is another player i would give a go as well.
We played well late last year but we still dont have the team to win a comp so you need to experiment more often early than late

What??
Picker is only 21 and is already one our best players. He got his rep debut last year with the PM13s game, is a certainty for city country and probably a season away from origin. There is no reasonable explanation for not having him in the team.

what I see against the tigers in the first round i would have harrison against his old squad and thurling as he is a lot more damaging ball runner.
i know that wont happen but thats my opinion.
Picker is young but i meant the guys from the under 20s last season to be given a go.
Picker does look good but i just wouldnt have him in the first game of the year

cause of harrison against his old squad, rest his injurys that he still has
and thurling is a more damaging ball runner
if anything i would replace him with miller

Picker shouldnt miss out because Harrison is playing, if both players are in form and available our team can accomodate both, but it does mean someone else will miss out.

Picker will start , Harrison and Thurling off the bench, Fensom wont be in the top 17 round 1.

I reckon you will be spot on there though Im just putting my side in, players against there old clubs usually come up with a win(anyone has stats on that please).thoug him sure its more than 51%.

I would just like to see Thurling starting as he is an awesome player who for me is one of the most underrated players in the comp

harrison and picker starting in the back row.
thurling showed last season that he has a point to prove coming from the interchange bench rather than starting.Impact player if you like
