Err, yeah, matt...that's right.
Waddell is a hooker, I've never seen him play at halfback and to do that you've moved Tonguey to hooker where he struggles to get good consistent ball out for 80 mins.

Campo to 13 is fine by me as is McCrone to 6 in place of Herbert if necessary, but to play them out of position to move Tongue and Waddell around is a bit weird IMO.

If for arguments sake Tongue was still injured and Herbert and McCrone were both playing well I'd be interested to see Campo at 13 and Herbie and McCrone in the halves but I'd much rather leave hooker to a specialist if possible. It sounds like neither Buttriss nor Flanagan had a great game on Saturday, so Travis might get his chance sooner than we think!

Wow thats' seriously the worst raiders team iv ever seen! lol I thought it was a toyota cup team haha hopefully all those players will step up enventually but aint gonna be round 1, might not even be this year.

It's typical that our two main injuries were up front with Thommo, TLL and Lasscock already out.

Hopefully Tilse is OK. Miller will get a shot and Joyce could be a first grader before he knows it. Shillington is still there and Harrison can play up front at a pinch.

Goes to show you can never have enough depth in the forwards.

swap em round and throw that dynamo waddell in there then..if that works for ya..so many possibilities with that side or perhaps start flano drop Harrison to the bench and shuffle tongue back to back row..

the side that DF will pick will look Lacklustre ,predictable and tired ..

not at all. ive been to both our trial games and we didnt look very flash. we have created a heap of chances but the final execution has been terrible. we should have beaten the roosters by 20 but final passes or poor handling let us down.

the positives have been marshall getting heavily involved at halfback, gallant looking dangerous and safe at the back, and gareth ellis being the best forward on the field in both appearances. negatives have been morris in a play making role and our front row hasnt been making meters, same as last year.

i think the raiders deserve to start slight favourites, although a few factors will weigh heavily on the reult:

* if logan, tilse, picker and lars are still injured
* if the tigers pick up any injuries in our last trial this friday
* if farah plays (and is fit)
* if morris and mcdonnell play
* who comes out on top in the campese/marshall battle
