I prefer Chase Stanley or Vidot in the centres, I think we need to ask more questions in attack, I'm sure we can still defend very well with one of these two in the centres.

1. Denan Kemp As well he reminds me of Boyd in terms of running and attack.

Not sure about this comparison, Boyd is near 100kg, and has a big physical presence. A lot of his metres on kick returns were down to size and strength.
Kemp is a lot smaller, relies a lot more on speed, and gets rag dolled a bit. I think against a good kick chase he wouldn't have anywhere near the impact of Boyd.

They both used to play for the Broncos and they both have dark hair, that's where the similarities end for mine.

Gower is hopeless.
He won't be there.

Miller or au mau/vea will be there IMO.

I would be Scott in the centres for now. But it's obvious chase is prices first choice. I think vidot is better option than chase.

Also think king should be at hooker. But agree with you that price will select rein.

He looked good in the Charity Shield I thought. Chunky bugger now. Has got backrower written all over him, looking forward that is.

Where's he fit in though? You already and 30 backrowers, 31 counting Creagh.

Nice one Rex!

Rein has done nothing wrong so why drop the guy. He has taken his chances with both hands and has done a great job of it. Cam King got first crack but unfortunately got injured. Unfortuantely he will have to wait. When Fein retires Cam King and Rein will be in the squad. Cam will have to do what Nightingale did when Dell was playing and wait his turn. It will come. And when it does there is no turning back. He will be a fantastic player for the red v.

Rein won't give us enough. Solid. Not threatening.

Also young must start at lock. Not prior.

Yeah I agree on both counts. I think a few here on the forum have forgotten how much of a struggle scoring points has been for the dragons in the past. We need a creative player around the ruck to take the pressure off the halves and outside backs. In the past when the sweeper hasn't been working or opposition defenses have been able to shut down cooper and co. we have really struggled to provide any kind of threat anywhere else. Things become very one dimensional. A creative hooker like King will keep opposition defences in two minds. With Gaz and Boyd gone we are going to need an X factor more now then we ever had. It is going to take more than good crisp service and enthusiasm to spark our attack and unfortunately that is all Rein offers. I think his brother from another mother is John Morris.
