be serious Westie, Moodie is a class winger and against the cowboys that was CLASS finishing, there was still alot to do on both occasions. in fact he has been our best player this season.

the pack looks good but leaving moodie out for fitzhenry on the wing is laughable.

Im gunna use the 7's as a reference as it was the last time both players had the opportunity to play wing. Both players played in the two best teams so there is no excuse that either player was at a disadvantage.

Can you tell me honestly who was the better finisher that weekend when given the oportunity?

My strongest team (if everyone available for selection) :

1. Hodgson - safe at the back, a spark in attack
2. Richards - speed, size
3. Elford - speed, size
4. Fitzhenry - speed, versatile, not a 5/8
5. Moodie - experienced, safe, deceptive speed
6. Prince - IMO suited more to 5/8, should be a runner not a passer, kicking game
7. Reynolds - IMO should be a 1/2 back, a organiser not a runner, kicking game
13. Sattler - leadership, experience, defence
12. Laffranchi - size, metre eater, mobile, enthusiastic, try sniffer
11. Gibbs - metre eater, mobile, youthful enthusiasm
10. Skandalis - size, workaholic, non stop worker
9. Mears - damaging runner from dummy half, non stop worker in defence
8. Payten - size, enthusiastic, can hit the line then spin and offload

14. Marshall - speed, the step, the next big thing or just hype ? lets find out
15. Galea - runner of the ball not a organiser, workaholic
16. Graham - ball player out wide, experience
17. Simpkins - the beast from east, the guy is a tank, hard hitting offloading forward. Let the beast loose !

This team has size, speed, experience and youthful enthusiasm. It was hard to leave out Senter, Wilson, O'Neill, Halatau, Beuttner, Covell, Lima and Farah but its just my opinion, I cant pick everyone. Im sure a lot of people will not agree with it.

If Sheens picked his team based on others opinions he would be a very confused coach.

Lets see if I get a  or a #-o

I Like the starting 13 gr8-1 though the bench looks a bit dodgy bar marshall...

Graham....looks to me like the dud of the year

As we have seen 7's footy means jack

Seriously dude, moodie has played origin on the wing

During the sevens he wasnt even signed, so he wouldnt of been doing any training

but yeah lets go the fitzy on the wing over a guy who has scored 4 tries in 5 games 9 ( 3 very good ones), been safe as a house, and who has had no pre season anyway and will only get better:roll:

Speed and finishing ability are the same in both forms of the game. The only difference is we saw Fitz do a whole lot more of it.

Dude, he has bombed a few crucial trys this year (including one that cost us the game against souths). Obviously he has scored a few good trys this year on the back of some good backline movements (finally) but it frustrates me so much to see him get in to space and get chased down so easilly. I've given up hoping when he makes a break now.

Harrison had the start on him

Fitzy nearly got run down by hoppa las yr, it was toe to toe for 70 meters beofre hoppa went for the ankle tap

Cant be bothered arguing anymore, moodie should be first picked against manly, besides fitzy would be terrible on the wing with all the dancing he does thats the last thing we need. hes doing ok out of dummy half, hes ok at a number of positions but not great at any

find another wests tigers fan in the world that would justify replacing moodie for fitzhenry...

Give them an opportunity to actually see him on the wing and im sure they would.

Btw Hoppa isnt as slow as he is made out to be. Remember that final play in the snow game.
