I wen't through the same shit from 91-95, i wen't to every Parra home game in that time and i remember thinking to myself we would come good again & we will never experience this shit again, unfortunately.....

Times like this i don't know how people can be proud to support Parramatta.

Im not a bandwagon or whatever, as i said earlier im as loyal as they come.....a true Taurean.....i stuck by this club through worst times then this, i remember sitting on the hill in 93 when we played the Sharks...we lost 14-12 it was that cold & wet that day i was sick for 2 weeks afterwards...i didn't care at the time i just use to love supporting our team, atleast in those years we didn't have the talent..but god we showed some heart when i come to think of it....with the players we had.

I don't know what we can do....maybe some " eye of the tiger" in the dressing room....or the " Top Gun" anthem may get them motivated??........there is always Tony Robbins??......i heard he can work miracles, always found Rebel Yell motivated me......knowing Brian he'll probably play " Foot loose" or " it's raining men"

Brian must not have been a good school teacher, he probably get his best League player to take up ballroom dancing or Yodelling.

Jesus, don't expect me to be at a game for anytime soon...i mean if im going to do a 400km round trip i'd atleast expect us to win, hope those banners where noticed today.

It's fans like you Ron, that Fitzgerald and Smith should be taking note off. The fans are what make the club, and Smith had the decency to realise that we longer want him at the helm then he would do the honourable thing and stand down. What is happening to Parramatta at the moment is unacceptable. From the position we were in 3 years ago to this is a disgrace and us fans shouldn't have to put up with this rubbish. There is one man who can make a difference and get us back on track. That man is Brian Smith, and he can do that by resigning.

If players are learning how to play football at halftime then there are huge problems at the club. They need to be reved up, you wouldnt see the great coaches like bennett and Stuart using a whiteboard!

Struck a chord with me, Ron. When I was a season ticket holder in those years, I was still entertained. I didn't expect (though I did hope) that Parra would be semi final merterial, with a salary cap working against us and a boneheaded CEO in charge. Twas good nough to see 'em competetive for 60 minutes, the odd Jason Bell length of the field, or Scotty Mahon fly down the sideline, or even the great 2m hitups by Greg Drake.

I can remember 2 poignant incidents that underlined our lowly status. A game v the Gold Coast where I could hear the "get off 'im" taunts from fans ACROSS the ground was one. The other was the day we beat the Knights, and they promptly sacked their coach!

Back then you had a club legend coaching, and none playing. Yeah, Burt was winding down his magnificent career as an agressive lock, and Pebbles Laurie was earning his great clubman status. I can remember John Fearnley matching stride with Mick Hancock so his try would not go near the posts. Mark Bugden flattening Benny Elias. Dave Woods and his wonderful footwork, and those damned knees. Watching the reggies and waiting for Dave Penna and the Adamson brothers to blossom. Those were the rewards for watching the Eels in the early nineties.

Now? Well, we are an easy 2 points for whatever sorry mob we are playing. Helping some lowly club get their season on track, while watching Hindy play like a madman, doing the work of 10 forwards, and listening to every commentator bagging Parra.

The time for calling for the head of Brian SMith has passed. Should have happened a season or 2 ago. Now, whatever we do, we will remain the gift 2 points for every sad-arsed team that bothers to complete their sets of 6 and follows the kicks with enthusiasm.

Para will miss the semis for the second year in a row, when we sould be defending a title. There is no horizon. We support a club that has no desire at it's nerve centre for sucess. We urge and urge Fitzgerald to actually DO something. We see our best and bravest adorn other clubs jumpers, and play to their potential. We see them happy. We see them confident

The world is kicking sand in our face. The front office does nothing, seemingly comfortable with our lowly rank. Such is the life of a Parramatta supporter. :(

That's thing Misty.....you'd think our club could tolerate mediocrity.

I remember that Fearnley chase Misty....i was there with 10,000 others

Mahon & Parra where brillant that night....we lost 15-8 but it was a game where we showed class & passion, Crnkovichs intercept try was great & Scotty at the back was brillany as usual.

Another great game i remember from 93 was when we played the Smith coached Dragons, we lost 14-12 but we didn't loose any of the 23,000 fans that where present..we sure stuck it to them.
