Yeah well he was a great QB do doubt, and his Superbowl RINGS and MVP`s can`t go without saying he` was one of the Greatest QB`s ever, and his stats show that too with 50,000 passing yards and 300+ td passes. BUT He aint the best QB i`ve seen so yeah 11th he stays lol.

i think elways is overrated cos he won the superbowl, and marino underrated cos he never won one. marino's the best passer i've ever seen, though the best all-round qb i've ever seen was young

special mention also to emmitt smith and deion sanders

Who is Jesse Tuggle?

Joe Greene belongs on that list, and Dick Butkus, Jim Brown. The list is a bit quarterback-heavy.

Parrot, that is ridiculous. John Elway was a much better player than Dan Marino. Dan was a pocket passer whereas Elway had an awesome arm and great scrambling ability. Elway rightfully will be remembered as one of the top two QB's in NFL history.

Elway got his side to the SB several times on his ability alone unlike Montana who always had a great supporting cast.

One of the best I ever saw was Bo Jackson. Man that guy could run.

Warren Moon???

omfg, you don`t know who Jesse Tuggle is or was?????? ALL TIME TACKLES LEADER played with The Falcons and won a Superbowl ring too with them. LMAO. Just to refresh your memory cause I know you must have heard of him, he retired at the start of last season. and as for my top 20 with so many QB`S........I go on stats, after all its a well known fact that stats are key to getting into the HOF!, Dan Marino played in the most games WITHOUT Winning a Superbowl in NFL History.

I was actually typing before thinking, XXXIII Jan. 31, 1999 sorry lmao they lost to your mob the Broncs, Jesse Tuggle was a great player though. Great Inside and Outside Linebacker during a 17 year career.

The best QB from the Class of 83 debate, I love it.

John Elway-most wins-148
-most 4th qtr comebacks-47

I wouldn't class these stats as overrated.

Numbers found at the following web pages-
www.hickoksports.com/biograph/elwayjohn.shtml
www.coffeeshoptimes.com/elway.html

Cheers,

I looked up Jesse Tuggles here:
http://www.atlantafalcons.com/history/001/059/

1 year 2nd team All-Pro (98), 2 years All-NFC, (91 and 98), 5 Pro Bowl appearances. A good solid career, but hardly one of the all-time greats. He may be one of the all-time best falcons, but not close to the top 20 NFL players. Probably not even in the top 20 all-time linebackers.

In my last post I typed 98 twice, but it came out as an emoticon. I don't know why, I tried to edit and change it but it still happened. What kind of bug is that?

im glad u put jerry rice on there, tho he is placed a little low. i know he is a WR but he is by far the greatest WR ever, with over 7700 more reciveng yards then the next closest player and is still going strong after 16 years. people put alot of enphisis on the QB's who pass touchdowns, where alot of the time its the WR who do all the work for the touchdown. jerry rice is defiantly one of those recivers!
