Former star player with both the Bulldogs and Roosters Kouparitsas was a versatile and skilled player who represented Greece on 3 occasions.

I have heard from dedicated Greek-Australian Rugby League fans that both Kouparitsas and the legendary Braith Anasta are being considered for admission into the exclusive Greek-Australian Sports Hall of Fame, taking their rightful place alongside legendary Greek-Australians, such as Roosters chairperson Nick Politis.
