Just hoping dogs do not win the gf this year. Ennis will be a better player for longer... Selfish but hey...

So umm who is responsible , know one knows so far.
Swap? I don't care about swap I just don't want any more 'past use by date' players signed. If he is so good why did the dogs let him go. Bleeding obvious!

The more experienced the hooker the better. Name 1 quality young hooker?
Lichaa may come good but wow he is just a plodder in first grade.
And to answer the question. His manager and father.

Apasai Korisau.
Jake Granville.
James Segeyaro (not as young as the above but still classy)

I can't believe people think ennis is a better option then lichaa.
lichaa is already playing better then ennis in his first year in the nrl. By this time next year every sharks fan will rue what could of been. lichaa is learning fast, he will be in a class far above ennis.

in saying that since we lost lichaa, ennis is a good buy for us.

But who is responsible here at Sharks for the signing of Ennis? Ok I will throw in Grothe and Ayshford. And I don't care about how cheap they may have been , it sends a message that are a John Paul Village of the NRL.

Players don't always leave because they are shit. I mean if that was the only case why did the Storm get rid of GI?. Glen Stewart is far from shit. Why is Choc and Snake set to leave the Hartleys? Salary cap, not getting on with the management, better money elsewhere, wanting to be a part of an emerging team / force, longer contract terms all sorts of reasons. Ennis will bring a cool experienced head. Lichaa may have the skills but he doesn't have that yet and may never get it. From what im reading from those that generally know he has an ego that may be considered destabilising. It could turn out to be a disaster but in my humble uneducated opinion he is the stand in hooker for the Blues (being kept out by Farah and if Robbies form drops away he might be a blue next year who knows) which i like to be honest. Proof will be in the pudding though mateys.

Ennis left for contract length...was offered a one year extension and was fighting to get a second added. We offered three if I remember correctly.

It matters not. No one is expected to perform at the Sharks - it's just a bonus if they decide to have a go. It's not like there's a proud history or high achievement levels to meet, just considered a great win if we sign some kaarnt that used to be good before they get to the Shady Shire Retirement Village.

One day, some innovative kaarnt will drive a street sweeper, continually through this cursed joint, till all the failure farmers are well and truly down the drain, doing breast stroke along side turds that move faster than them.

Yes Sad Shark ! My feelings as well. Every team needs a few experienced players but not for three years!
So any young bloke that recons he would go well as a hooker in the NRL looks elsewhere for the next two seasons.

Ennis signed with us for 2 years, not 3. Good contract length imo. He can help bring young 9s along. Lichaa was gone a while before Ennis signed. Not having an experienced and proven NRL level hooker for next year would have been a massive blunder.

Do these aged players help the younger players? Who did noddy 'bring along' ? If Ennis helped younger hookers at the dogs ,where are they?
