Merrin and Fitzy won't be moving from the Illawarra anyway.

Trent will be driving back and forth as lots of players do a ton of miles per week.

Even Gus drives every day from Cronulla.

Maybe Trent can get a train to Sutherland,and Gus can give him a lift to Penrith.:lol:

As much as I dislike Myles he is a good player and would be a good signing.

I know every team needs a workhorse. Someone that doesn't really hit it up or tackle too hard. For our team, that was Latimore. Can anyone honestly tell me when the last time was that he took the ball up with some gusto or really put a decent hit on someone? Now we have ET making 75 tackles a game and not really hitting it up too hard. We also have Cartwright who uses nothing but arms in tackles and only wants to pop passes, not hit it up. Lewis Brown is a meter eater, but wouldn't instil too much fear in the opposition. PCG is still young, but doesn't show a lot of aggression in attack of defence. Sika Manu tries hard, but probably too small to really make an impact in defence or attack. So what we have is: Plum in defence and McKendry in attack when he is on his game. To me, that says we are thin in the forwards. Get Myles if he is available.

Myles is a grub.IMO. For those of us that watch our other senior team, in the NSW Cup we have a bloke in the front row that has been hiiting it up hard, topping metre stats and tackles as hard as any in our top team and he has just been selected for his 3rd year running in the NSW Cup Rep team to play Qld next sunday. Sam Anderson has done everything we keep banging on about needing , only he's not built like Kite or McHendry but has twice the ticker of both of them. I hope we give him a chance to prove his worth before another team grabs him and we end up wondering where our best young players go???

Penrith badly need a grub. When DWZ is the only bloke in the side who sticks up for himself then we have issues.

Myles isn't a grub (in the sense of cheap shots and nastiness). He is just nails hard. I mean. Really nails hard. None of this posing tough guy crap like Bird and Gallen, he just does the tough stuff without fanfare and doesn't take a backward step. Gallen hit him with everything he had and Myles took it . Did he stop taking the ball up after that? Did he go missing? Did he f%ck. I might be a Queenslander but he is exactly the type of player you want in your team when it starts getting hard.

We need that sort of steel in our team. Two years from him would be brilliant for us. We also have enough good players that he won't have to play the huge minutes he does at the Titans and we won't burn him out.

To even mention Anderson in the same breath is a huge disrespect to Myles. I think Anderson deserves a prolonged chance in first grade as well, but not at the expense of Myles. We need both.

Its possible, I think he even has his doubts. But he has to eat and he loves footy so I think he will be back, We have seen the last of him wearing number 3 for us definitely.

I thought the same thing once they confirmed it was an ACL. I hope he has the desire to get back on the field, but if he doesnt I will wish him well in whatever path he chooses to take. He seems a really decent bloke & a true character not afraid to be honest about how he feels.
