What do you mean "or", once he's back he's in first grade.

I heard another 3 weeks. We definatley need him back

We tend to have a selection of players that are considered too good to even play a warm up match in premier league. Like it is below them. Don't think that is the right attitude to have.

I disagree with the whole concept that certain players don't need a PL game to get back some match fitness.

I don't care whether the player's name is Hindmarsh, Cayless, Cannings, Grothe, Dykes, Morris - if you warrant it, you get it.

Times have changed though, with the introduction of the interchange.

Guess it all depends on the nature of the injury.

Around 6 weeks or so. They spoke to him on tv on the Manly game 2 and a half weeks ago and he said 8 weeks from then...

Started running this week

Why isn't he running with the cast on?

Might sound stupid but that's what I was thinking. Webke played the 2001 finals series with a specially designed cast, why not Cayless?

I guess its best to have it heal 100% properly - take no risks with jolting or falling etc etc.

Playing in a finals series is different - its the end of the season, nothing to lose if you re-injure it, and you have 5+ months to let it heal afterwards.

They probably are also being a bit more careful because this is the second time he's broken the arm in a relatively short space of time.
