So we've let go Williams as a potential halve ( just as Witt and Stanley out again with injury) / Green as Centre / Wing - and who do we have to replace them If we sign up another fringe player to blood then what's the point, at least Green was trying was showing signs of improvemnt from 2013. I thought Williams never had a fair shot...I'm not as overjoyed as u guys....

We lost Williams but we won "Benji Marshall", just saying, perhaps a good one to have lost. Agree that Williams was never given a fair crack, he has potential.

Green hasn't actually been released well the Dragons haven't made an official statement as of yet but the selection of Runciman instead of him shows who Mary prefers.

Williams release really makes little sense regardless of the signing of Marshall Witt is gone possibly for the year, Stanley injured again leaving who no one with any experience.

If its to give Marshall his money then why the hell did they sign him but it has to be more than that.

Williams and green had to be let go. Williams should never have been signed. Green should never have been given such a shot at first grade. Price should have used Peter M much earlier

Hey guys, I have a couple of young boppers that would REALLY help our front row and are both playing against grown men regularly.

Big Sam Lisone has just recently resigned with the Warriors for two years, But would be ready for first grade then and he Was the top priority youth re-signing for the Warriors this year. He has been running over every prop and pack he comes up against and is Big with a lot of mongrel.

Toafofoa Sipley is also currently in the Warriors under20 squad but is playing in the Fox Memorial for Point chev. He is a similar size to James Gavet from the Tigers, He is a Backrower but big and has lightning speed or a guy so BIG, and hits like a train in Defence.

Agree and I was calling for Mata'Utia to be used much earlier. He had another solid game in defense and always bends the line.

I would have given Williams the first 6-8 weeks to warm into the role. 7 is such a huge job and he needed time to find his feet in a new team. I had high hopes for Sam, and I am disappointed with the way he was used.

I can also see the potential in Green as a backrower. He lacks the necessary speed to play in the centres (we all saw how slow he was in 9's), but he has a great build and decent skills for running on the edge of the ruck. A good "development" coach will probably make a first grader out of him somewhere, but sadly I don't see that happening at the Sharks.

Quinlan can play in the halves but we are running thin now.

Quinlan had a great game in terms of try assists against the Panthers and justifies his selection. His ball back inside for Gypsy was a highlight. If we lose one of our halves I could guarantee Quinlan would fill in with Mata'Utia dropping back to fullback unless Dugan did.

Yeah we have a lot of flexibility with guys like Dugan/Quinlan/Mata'Utai and even Widdop could one day be fullback if it was necessary (unlikely but you never know).

Not sure how far Mata'Utai will go, hes not perfect but his aggression and speed justified a spot ahead of green earlier this season. Runciman is the other, even if not in great form his time in 1st grade will pay dividends down the track.

sorry, but can someone please tell me why Adam Quinlan doesn't run AT ALL on kick returns - it sends a very bad message & is just giving away at least 10 metres every time to the opposition. He puts his wingers under enormous pressure with ridiculous passes.
