It's quite funny how the media picks NSW sides......

Oh well I'm glad he is back in favour.:D

Would be a great captain for NSW and well deserved.

He is probably the best (or just behind locky) 5-8 in the game. If he is not in the team at 5-8, NSW selectors should give it up. The halfback should be Wallace, with Farah at 9 we actually look dangerous.

Mateo at lock and Sutton coming off the bench should give NSW even more strike power, and enough class to challange the likes of Lockyer, Thurston and Smith.

Spot on Caylo, those are exactly the players who should be picked, and on current form Sutton should start.

As for Hindmarsh, I would be stunned if he is not picked. As for the ppl who say he should be captain, five years ago I would of said you're out of you're cotton pickin minds, but today I think he would do just fine. But I can't see it, the selectors you will find will probably go for Farah or Trent is he is selected.

Personally I think hooker, two bench spots and the backrow is still open - Laffranchi, Gallen, Heighington last year would have been automatic selections but their form this year is way down.

Terry Campese renewed his contract with the Raiders last year for 2 more years. I was following it last year and hoping that we would have had a shot at him. But surprise, surprise we never did. Oh yeah, we have no more money left to purchase anyone. We retain and buy so well who needs a playmaker when we have ah...lets see...ah just give me a minute, I'll think of it...ah that's right..Finchy the lethal game breaker.

Sorry mate I don't think your rule will count much come selection time. Not a bad rule though.

As for Farah, don't be surprised.

Laffranchi's form has been down since around the second half of last year imo. Gallen and Heighington though, may not be at their very best, but are still playing at a high standard imo.

Farah was next in line 2 years ago. But his form has been up and down, if the Tigers lose a few in a row, I wouldn't be surprised to see Michael Anus get picked.

Ellis is playing three times as good as Heighington..... he is a good player but I don't think he is a rep player. Gallen hasn't been too bad.

Mark Minichiello wouldn't be a bad selection nor would Reece Williams - he'd be a decent bench player as he can cover a few spots as well. His form has rivalled that of Gallen at the moment.

Josh Perry has definitely improved since joining Manly.

No more room for Mason, Bailey, O'Meley, Fitzgibbon.

Yes but we can't pick Ellis, but I agree Mark was always a good player at Souths, but since moving to the Gold Coast, has been superb, but I feel the selectors will not pick him for some reason. I too am a little disappointed in Heighington's form, but he is way to good a player not to bound back to his best. Those other polukas that I have highlighted, as you, I think are way past it too.

I think there is a changing of the guard in the air in the NSW pack.

I agree that guys like Mason, O'Meley, and Fitzgibbon shouldn't be near a jersey. Probably Bailey too. If they go with younger players in preference to most of those guys, then you wonder whether they might opt for one older lead by example bloke in the mix? If so, giving Hindy a recall would be a sensible choice - works all night and revs up his flashier teammates in their own effort by simply doing so.

Big game tonight come to think of it, for Hindy and our pack.

They should have plenty of reasons to get on top of the Rooster forwards, hopefully this means we're as swicthed on tonight as we were against Souths, rather than how we were against NZ or Canberra.

Bartman I don't think that there is any doubt at all about Hindy being the first forward picked. He has been sensational this season, by far our best player overall. Even last year when he was off his best, he was still one of the top three players in the team, even with an arthritic toe and extra fat gut. Now with a new fitness regime, he is top of the bops, and the selectors know that.

Hope so.

They'll probably still plump for someone odd at lock (Anasta? Barrett? even Mateo?), and Gallen would have the other second row spot sewn up. Not sure if Watmough will be on the outer, or get a sympathy vote...

So I just hope Hindy get shis jersey back, like Fitzgibbon did the year before.

Something tells me Mateo ain't getting picked. The way we are using him is not the best way to for SOO purposes. Gallen or Watmough are more affective in that style of play.

On form Hindy should be the first forward picked, but will they go back to him that is the big question??? They are a pack of old knobs and Hindy has been fairly outspoken about not being picked last year. And Mullen and Campo have to be the halves with Sutton at lock and Mateo on the bench.

Marky Geyer and Grahem Hughs are calling for Hindmarsh to be NSW Captain.

I don't often agree with Graham Hughes but on this I can see no other alternative. Hindy would be immense as Blues skipper.

In saying that, I bet the bastards don't even pick him...again.
