Its a fairy tale waiting to happen
Parramatta great Nathan Hindmarsh is considering a shock return to the NRL.
On the back of reports Eels back-rower Anthony Watmough is retiring with a chronic knee injury, Hindmarsh has revealed he is set to make a stunning comeback with the club he served for 15 seasons.
The 36-year-old has not played since retiring at the end of the 2012 season after 330 games with the Eels.
Well see. To go back playing after four years its going to be a massive decision, Hindmarsh told Triple M.
Ive got to sit down and speak to my wife about it and speak to trainers and see if my body is going to cope with it.
Ive been trying to keep as fit as I can. You dont want to go out there and make a dick of yourself.
The game has sped up a but since I retired but the thing in my favour is the drop in interchange.
That will enable me to play a bit more time in the middle and that will help out a little bit I hope.
Hindmarsh admits the lure of winning a premiership is one of the big reasons he is considering a return.
He said: Theres not a day goes by that I dont think about trying to win one of those.
Itd be nice. We will have to wait and see.
