BRONCOS STAND FIRM ON MCCULLOUGH
The rumour surrounding Andrew McCullough and the Dragons won’t go away. The Dragons are in the market for some more depth in the hooker position and McCullough is said to be at the top of coach Anthony Griffin’s list.
The pair spent time together when Griffin previously coached the Broncos and it’s understood he’s keen to lure McCullough to the Red V.
McCullough took up the option in his favour to remain at Red Hill in 2021, however he has reportedly since been tabled a two-year deal from the Dragons.
But a Broncos source has confirmed to Foxsports.com.au that the 30-year-old won’t be going anywhere this year.
“Andrew has not been released to go to the Dragons. He will be playing at the Broncos in 2021,” the source said.
The Dragons also confirmed no agreement had been made.
DRAGONS EYE UNSIGNED HOOKER
With the McCullough move seemingly put on ice the Dragons still have an appetite for another rake.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting St George Illawarra have expressed interest in former Titans No.9 Nathan Peats.
The 30-year-old was not re-signed by the Gold Coast after last season and is on the hunt for a new club.
