He's a bit small to be playing flanker unless he's piled on the kilos over the years.

Union flankers are usually Sherman tanks eg former Wallabies flanker David Pocock.

I don't think Stapo would be that big.

I played representative Union. I know what they look like.
It was reported as such that he was playing that position.

Can't believe Stapo is only 32.... Feels like ages ago he was running around for us. Glad to see the club getting behind him. Hope he makes a recovery over time.

You know what I think has happened. In Ye ole days wingers used to be said by as being on the flank, maybe there was a cross over.
Each way, however it happened is a tragedy.

I remember when Sticky was excited about signing this kid from Southport who played fullback, he never said his name but it was Stapo he was talking about.

I'd go with favourite player but doesn't matter what you or I would do. Mine was simply a commentary as to why I wasn't surprised.
