nba considering expansion into europe

i heard on the radio the other night that the nba will consider expanding into euope over the next ten years, david stern will meet with the international basketball officals this all star weekend

he wants to set up their own conference and set up 5 European teams within ten years. I don't really like the idea, would mess with the Euro-league, which i find to be a solid growing league.

I think its a great idea, the NBA is the most followed league in the world (yes more than the EPL) Im sure it would be a huge success.
Then they can follow it up with some teams in Asia, id be a season ticket holder to a Sydney team, If there's a team in China they would get 100,000 to every game.

Why doesnt the English Super League do something like this. A team in Paris, Italy, Russia, Wales...didnt the super league promise us a 'global competition'?
