If Timber's get #1...they take Irving and they should trade the rights for Rubio.

He doesn't want to go there...he isn't that good anyway...just trade the rights...and get a legit franchise PG in Irving to lead your young team.

Kahn will get shit for taking another PG...but tbh...if you look back at the draft they drafted 3 PG's...one was traded on the night, Flynn has played and TBH I think he is a 6th man type anyway...and Rubio hasn't come across.

He may get someone to take Ridnour's contract or trading Johnny Flynn if needs be...but Irving is a lock there and would actually help in making them good.

Part of me kind of also hopes that the Cav's get really lucky and get #1 & #2.

Then they go Irving and Williams to really inject some spark back into the Cav's.

Out of all the crappy teams, I hope Cleveland gets the #1 pick just because of what's happened there. All the other teams have stunk for a couple of years and shouldn't keep getting high picks just because they're poorly managed. It's for that reason I hope the Wolves get the fourth pick or something, they've had good enough fortune with high picks since KG left and are still terrible through poor drafting (Flynn, Rubio, Johnson etc) and free agent moves (Ridnour, Darko etc), so I don't want them getting another shot at redemption.

Don't think Wes Johnson was a bad pick dude.

The guy is still maturing and I thought kept getting better.

PG - Irving
SG - Johnson
SF - Beasley
PF - Love
C - Darko

Isn't that bad of a starting line up for next year...

Darko is still meh...but I don't think its that terrible.

Wes is ok but I don't see him getting much better, he was a four year senior wasn't he? Might improve marginally but let's face, he isn't going to be a superstar. Considering DeMarcus Cousins was on the board, a natural fit next to K-Love and with plenty of potential, it was a pretty stupid pick IMO.

Yeah I agree with that, they should have taken Cousins.

But could understand why they didn't.

I personally think Cousins will be a beast...the way he played occasionally this year...woah.

Hoping also the Kings may get #1.

If they take Irving...then Evans can move to the position he should be playing as a SG. He aint a PG.

PG: Irving
SG: Gordon
SF: Gomes
PF; Griffin
C: Jordan

Trade Kaman and upgrade at SF. Wow what a young core that wouldve been.

I know aye...Clippers would be just spewing.

And they have Aminu at SF as well that would have developed as part of that core imo.

So Cav's next season...lets say that they get the two I said.

PG - Kyrie Irving
SG - Daniel Gibson - I know he is a PG, but if he stays, He could be a SG.
SF - Derrick Williams
PF - J.J. Hickson
C - Anderson Varejao

BE - Baron Davis
BE - Antwon Jamison
BE - Ramon Sessions
BE - Manny Harris
BE - Semih Erden
BE - Anthony Parker
BE - Luke Harangody
BE - Samardo Samuels

Now thats just basic who was there this year viewpoint.

Not sure who their FA's are.

But overall...if they can find a way to upgrade that SG position it isn't a terrible team to build around.

They were not that terrible until Varejao went down for the year. Jamison struggled...but they had some shining lights and sparks at times in the season.

Add a decent SG in FA, those two young pieces, and keeping Varejao fit to go with hopefully another year of Hickson development...they mightn't be terrible.

Lol trading away a pick that becomes a lottery spot is such an Indy thing.

The Cavs have a great rebuilding chance here they can't screw it up. Big Mick's mock is about right and if the Cavs go that and can find a scorer they're playoff bound

Clippers have to be shaking their head.

Could have gone Irving and had the following line up:

PG - Irving, SG - Gordon, SF - Aminu, PF - Griffen, C - Jordon/Kaman

Or could have gone Derrick Williams and had the following line up:

PG - Bledsoe/Williams, SG - Gordon, SF - Williams, PF - Griffen, C - Jordon/Kaman

Either way...would have made them a genuine play-off team imo
