Not sure, but he would not have been picked up.
He is good, but not that good.
Teams wont risk a draft pick on him. He has to hope to be picked up in a 10 day contract or something along those lines.

Battier = Josh Howard IMO...

Both are versatile swingmen who have similar styles.

Orlando look pretty decent on paper. They will be a contender in 2-3 years if they can keep that young team together. They need a lockdown defender though, someone in the Bruce Bowen mold who can shut down the other teams best guard...

New Jersey Nets got some very good picks IMO. Marcus Williams will be a great back to Jason Kidd.

I was hoping Utah would get Marcus Williams and then trade his rights but I'm happy with who we have drafted anyway. Hopefuly Ronnie Brewer will be better than Kirk Snyder was. Also I was pleased to see Utah put their second round picks to good use with former Deron Williams teammate Dee Brown and Paul Millsap, who I havent seen play but his numbers are great.

In ability or playing styles? Howard's more athletic and superior offensively, I'd say Battier is smarter. Either way, if the rumours are true that it's Swift + Gay for Battier, I'd say Jerry West strikes again.

The Knicks fans at RealGM are convincing themselves that this 7ppg Renaldo Balkman is a star in the making. I guess if it drives them away from suicide, more power to them.

but they had the 29th pick as well, which they could have easily used on him if they really wanted him.
