but they had the 29th pick as well, which they could have easily used on him if they really wanted him.

They probably could've got him with the 61st pick in all honesty i.e undrafted but Isiah knows what he's doing... ok no he doesn't, terrible pick but good for anyone who isn't a Knicks fan.

Does any one know what the spurs got for trading their pick (Damir Markota) to the bucks??.

If they didn't get a centre then i'd say he spurs will resign Nazr Mohammid.

they got the best 2nd pick at the bucks in next years draft. (bucks had 2) maybe got some cash as well but don't quote me on the cash.

They were after Thomas all along but they had to make sure they got him so they made a trade with the Blazers who agreed to pick Thomas and the Bulls to pick Aldridge so they garunteed that they both got the players they wanted.

Its stupid because Thomas is small even for PF, even Luol Deng is bigger and they got chandler and Sweetney and no true centre

2006 Draft: Utah Jazz Team Grade

By DraftExpress.com, special to Rivals.com

Draft grade: A

Picks: Ronnie Brewer (14); Dee Brown (46); Paul Millsap (47)

Utah was surprised to see Brewer fall right into its lap at No. 14. The Jazz had him No. 1 on their board going into the draft, and he should be able to make an immediate impact. Brewer brings them a big dose of much needed athleticism on the perimeter. His willingness to do whatever is asked of him will make him a favorite of Jerry Sloan right off the bat.

In the second round the Jazz reunited Brown with Deron Williams, his former backcourt mate at Illinois. Brown would have been certain first-round selection a year ago, and many believe Millsap has first-round talent.

The Jazz went in needing a shooting guard, a backup point guard, and a backup power forward after trading away Kris Humphries and Robert Whaley. They got just that, and they fulfilled their needs with high-character guys.

Just thought I'd show off.

Do you think that Utah will retain Boozer??. If they do they will have an awesome front court. All quality players and with Deron Williams and Ronnie Brewer two exiting unguns at the back. A playof push is an understatement. IMO serious conteders if like you said they stay healthy.

C. Okur
PF. Boozer
SF. Kirilenko

I just looked at espn's top ten for the 2007 draft. Not a single SG or PG in there the smallest being 6-8. In the league today a good big man is better then a good little man. Are the Steve Nash type players becoming a dying breed in the NCAA and NBA. eg in the 2006 draft the best PG in Marcus Williams went at 22.
