Boston and Milwaukee should not have "tanked". Serves them right.
I am just happy the Knicks didnt get the top 3 pick and that goes to the Bulls!

Memphis don’t deserve a high pick after failing to do anything to really support Gasol.

I would’ve slashed my wrists if Chicago had drawn #1 or #2…

Oden in Portland is cool. I was hoping for Portland to land two because I didnt think realistically they would land 1. Jack/Roy/Outlaw/Webster/Aldridge/Oden is scary for the future. What do they do with Randolph? Long term I think you would be looking towards Aldridge at the 4 and Oden at the 5 but Randolph is a solid 20/10 type of guy. Maybe see what they can get from the Bulls for him? Or maybe they move Aldridge in a few years. I'm kinda bummed this could stunt his development because I think Roy and him in time could have done some real things for the club but hey Oden won't hurt!

Hopefully Seattle can do a S&T with Lewis but I think he has said he wouldnt even entertain that idea. I wanted Durant to be a go to guy but with Ray Allen there I don't see him being the number one option for a while.

The Hawks are in a really interesting position. If only they didn't take Sheldon Williams(Or Mavin Williams) they could take the BPA in Wright. But they can't take another forward surely and Conley isn't a top 3 pick I don't think. Some mocks have him going 10-11th(which is the Hawks other pick) and Wright imo will be better then any of their current forwards when he fully develops. Do they trade down? I'm glad the Suns didn't get their pick.

Memphis got smacked hard. I felt they were tanking, but at the same time I never thought they would drop to 4. They will be hoping the Hawks don't take Conley. I'd say this is the final straw for Gasol also.

Boston i'm so happy got f**ked so badly. They were clearly tanking and even had players like Gomes talk about it in the media. I got such great joy when they showed upset C fans at lotto parties.

The Bucks were another team who just didn't care and were clearly tanking. Sucked in!

Wish Philly moved up, they deserved it but I'm glad Portland won. Would of been nice to see the T-Wolves get something if they still wont move KG. They need to do something for f**ks sake.

bad karma for Boston, Memphis and Milwuakee - serves them right. Stoked for the Sonics - hopefully will keep them in Seattle. Portland will be an awesome young, fun team and Seattle could potentially have a team that just plain outscores some teams with Allen, Durant and Lewis. Even Atlanta will have a good team and if they choose right could push for playoffs next year.

With this draft, the East is f**ked big time. All the big stars and good teams are already in the West, and now add Oden and Durant to the poor west teams which will surely elevate them.

Awesome news that the Sonics got number 2, I don't really see how Durant and Lewis fit together though.

Hmm the bulls at 9 is interesting, we got a pretty decent backcourt with hinrich, gordon, duhon, and sefolosha, the 3 and 4 positions are solid with Deng, Sweetney, Nocioni, and Ty Thomas, the one position we need help in is at centre, Ben Wallace hold down that position comfortably at the moment but he's no spring chicken, and there's not much cover for him, however in saying that there's expected to be as many as 6 or 7 centres available in the 1st round in next years draft, so Greg Oden aside, centre depth will be alot better in the 2008 draft, so we might just go for the best player available in this draft for pick 9, and then with 2 picks in the second round maybe try to get someone like a Kyle Visser, or Aaron Gray

The Spurs have 3 picks including the Bucks early second round pick. The Centre and SF/SG position is what positions which need youth and adressing. Next year we will see more of James White who will fix our athletisism problems.

With our late second round pick Brad Newley could become a Spurs player if the draft pans out that way.

hopefully lewis will be dealt for someone we need , Pau Gasol or jermaine O'neal for center ? or maybe a point guard as i just dont think ridnour can cut it.

either way we have to take durant even if by some strange occurance lewis stays.

Durrant will probably end up at the 4 in 3 or 4 years when he adds some bulk.

Not good news for the East. No doubt guys like Oden or Durant going there would give the teams in the east more prime time slots and more exposure in general. At the same time, i'm glad that memphis or boston didn't get it, karma's a bitch hey.

If we didn't have the lottery in it's present stage, teams would tanking much earlier. I'm glad Atlanta got the 3rd pick, but they really need to get something in return from all their high draft picks over the years.

They desperately need a high assist PG in the draft, but are they willing to give up Brandon Wright and trade down?

Why trade down when they have 11 anyway? They could grab Law at 11. I like Law, he is a good leader but seems to be more of a shooter then passer. Horford? Maybe they take Yi at 3? I don't know much about him but theres some hype building. They have messed themselves with so many forwards lol. Given they don't have a pick next year can they even move their own pick this year? Or would a trade have to be done post draft? I think Wright and Horford to Conley is a bigger drop off then Conley to Law.

It will be interesting to see what Lewis can land in S&T.. I don't think it will be fair value
