Play of the match: Rondo's slap shot on Miller on the last Bulls play. Saved the game for the C's.

In the meantime: Dwight Howard - 24pts and 24rbs vs. Philly \\\\:D/

Seems as though Orlando are recovering in this series, should take it out. How bought Dwight grabbing 10 offensive rebounds while the entire Philly team only grabbed 4. Can you imagine if you took Howard out of Orlando. it would basically be Marcin Gortat and 10 perimetre guys.

Ugh, and Rondo gets away scot free when he admitted he whacked Brad Miller in the mouth ON PURPOSE because he knew he couldn't get there to make the block. Pffffft, what a scam. Oh well, even if we can't take Philly in game six, I like our chances in Game 7 with a fresh Dwight.

Spurs out :(. Had Ginobili been available, with Mason, Finley, Gooden on the benhc we may have gone deep.

Could be an end of an era though? It doesn't look like the big 3 can stay on the court together anymore.

It is a bit of a double standard, although you could argue that Howard should have been ejected for his elbow on Dalembert.

In quite a twist of irony, Courtney lee will also miss Game 6 because of an elbow he copped from D. Howard. Seems like we are definitely going to a Game 7.

As you alluded to, it all depends on injuries. While Duncan is definitely beginning to decline as a player (hardly surprising consider the miles he's put on his body), i still think that a fully fit Big 3 is still capable of challenging for a ring.

Boston vs Chicago - Greatest first round playoff series i've ever seen. Going to Game 7 after chicago win 128 - 127 in 3OT, despite Ray ray going of for 51. Seriously, whichever teams comes through this series will have nothing left for Orlando. Speaking of Orlando, boy was I wrong about them. Very impressed that they were able to advance.

Theres too much irony in seeing the Rockets advance past the first round without T-Mac, poor guy .

Agree about the Celts / Bulls....4 of the 6 games thus far have gone to OT....2 of them multi OT games.
Wouldnt be suprised if game 7 is a blowout.

LOL @ Tmac....shows how much the Rox missed him.

Teams like Portland and Houston are getting much stronger. If the Spurs can make the final with the 3 bigs then they can take out anyone. But it seems more likely then not that it won't happen in future :(. I wish they were more active in trades and FA to try and build to combat the inevitable loss of one of the big 3 for an extended period. I mean Drew Gooden and Mason were good pick ups, but we need someone to have an impact like Moe Williams had for the Cavs.

I'd like to invite all Philly fans to suck balls! Big, hairy, stinky, balls!

And yes, since there's a 50% chance this might be our only playoff victory of the season, I may as well sing while I can. Wiped by 25 @ home, without Dwight Howard.

On the bright side, this Bulls series has been more interesting to me since Game Two of their series. It's incredible! You're not wrong about whoever advances through this series being totallky knackered by the Orlando series, let alone the Cleveland series or beyond.

Great, great playoff series.

PS: As a lifelong Magic fan I'd also like to invite T-Mac to suck big fat hairy stink balls as well. If there was a great karma story of 09, that's it! So long, Me-Mac!

Knackered or not. Both Boston and Chicago are absolutely on fire atm and playing a really high level of basketball...

TBH, i picked Houston in 5.

IMO, there is only one team that could have smashed Portland the way they were and that is Houston. Portland can't handle a big center like Yao.

The only series i haven't picked yet was Dallas.

Whats the tip tomorrow? Hawks or Heat?

Despite getting eliminated today i find it hard to be too disappointed about the Blazers. Nearly every player in their rotation has yet to reach their peak, they've gained invaluable playoff experience, and as loaded with talent as they already are they have Raef Lafrentz's contract coming off the books this year which will give them space to add another quality player.

If Oden's body can hold together they can make a serious run at a title next year.

Portland got very unlucky.

Had Houston finished 6th, then Portland play dallas and advance easy.

An epic series comes to and end with Boston beating the Bulls 109-99. Great great series, makes you wonder what the Celts will have left.

Houston win game 1 in Lalaland, fantastic!! Kobe got his (32 points) but took plenty to get there (31 shots). Geez I hope the Lakers lose, nothing against LA I just really dislike Kobe.

Great performance by Houston, really impressed with them. This team is so much better when they play through Yao. Lakers don't have an answer for Brooks, he was abusing Fisher all game. I thought Adelman put on a coaching masterclass. I remember there were two times in the game when the Lakers had made a run and got within 1 point of Houston. Both times this happened, Adelman called a timeout and immediately after it, the Rockets went on a run of their own.

Kobe . Why was it only in the final two minutes of the game that he actually tried to get to the rim. I'll tell you right now, we aren't winning a title if all Kobe is going to do is jack up mind range jumpers. To be fair to him, its not like he was just jacking up shots all game, he was setting up team-mates for easy un-contested jumpers, where alot of them were missed. No idea why Bynum didn't get more playing time, Gasol was having a shocker. The more i watch Fisher play the more i want to kill myself, he should not be starting for us if he can't shoot.

Game 2 of the Lakers vs Rockets series was a real wild one. I'm happy that we won, but i'm still concerned. Kobe was still taking the same jump shots as he did Game 1, except he was making them. While Kobe is one of the few players in the world that can make the long range jumpers that he does, theres no way we won't see more 12-32 type shooting performances.
