The Daniels one was a bit unusual. He was being double-teamed by Gortat and (I think) Lewis? Didn't seem like an elbow, the only contact to his face I saw was possibly with Gortat's chest...

I love that Howard is either "too nice to win" or "a grub". There's no in between.

Personally, I still lean towards him being too nice! I want him to grub it up more!

yeah i watched the whole game again last night.

daniels one was very weird, i think i hurt his neck because he spun around not realising gortat was right there and his head colided awkardley into gortat.

glen davis' one, that was on purpose for sure. you can see howard on the way down slightly move to his left, right on top of him, his lucky he didn't break his nose.

personally, i praise that type of play in the playoffs.

and i agree, howard needs to add more mongrel to his game, he is too nice.

even when they were down by 20 pouints the other day, coming back from a time out you see him laughing with someone in the crowd and joking around.

he needs to take it a bit more seriously but these last two games he has turned it up a notch.

not only glen david' but he landed on rondo pretty hard and paul pierce copped one in the face, the one where the foul was given to lewis (i think), i was spewing because it would have been good to get him into foul trouble considering we lost two of our big men.

the perkins call was bad.

doesn't matter that it got rescinded, he was ejected in the 2nd quarter.

i garenuee if he played it would have been a different ball game.

sheed had a huge game but again makes too many silly fouls.

the fact that he alwasy complains to the refs just makes him a bigger target.

can't wait for saturday.

again, i wonder what game plan the celtics are going to have for howard.

i am predicting another rough game.

I think it's a stretch to say the Davis one was intentional. Just looked like a normal rebound to me, although I must admit Dwight's elbows do have the "knack" of finding the chins of other players... Not always the enemy either! Poor little Courtney Lee copped Dwight's elbow in the playoffs last year as well.

As for the foul on Pierce, I was hoping it was on Dwight - that was Rashard's fourth foul! Dwight only had two at that point I think.... But either way, it wasn't anywhere near as bad as it looked. Pierce is more theatrical than Jarryd Hayne.

If it's another rough game then I want to see Vince OUTTA THERE and Matt Barnes getting in the grill of Pierce. Also, more Brandon Bass.

That was a damn entertaining second half. Didn't think the Suns would get back in it like they did. Quite amazing. What about the lack of defensive rebounding in the final 10 seconds!! Lakers allowed two? Three? And then Artests might as well have been an offensive board.

Crazy finish. Good stuff. Suns should have enough to send it to seven. They're a lot less frustrating to watch now that Frye has remembered how to shoot threes.

On another note, what a series Kobe is having.

33 points/10 assists/7 rebounds (also throw in a steal and block as well) per game on about 53% shooting and about 46% from the 3pt line.

Yeah man Kobe's been awesome. A part of it probably has to do with the way the Suns are playing defense but its great to see his play improve as the playoffs have gone along. Odom was again pretty good. Fisher came up big. Again, Bynum is a bit of a worry.

That last quarter was intense. Ron Ron goes from villian to hero in the space of a minute. It will probably be forgotten now but the Lakers crowd reaction when Ron Ron went up to take that 3 (with 1 minute to go) right after the shot clock had reset was absolutely priceless. Couldn't tell whether they were screaming NOOOOOOOOOOO or booing as the shot went up.

As Carter is fouled and sent to the line for the first time tonight you hear a rabid Boston fan screaming "FAKERRRRR, FAKERRRRRR, YOU'RE A FAKER CARTER!"

HAHAHAHAHAHA, awesome.

Lead up to 17 with 7 minutes left in the second. Nate Robinson providing a huge spark, couple of threes and dimes with Rondo sitting after a hard fall. This is looking like a repeat of game 3, but there's still plenty of time for the Magic, just gotta play better.

Memo to Nelson - stop dribbling the ball for 15 seconds and move the ball. You're not Baron Davis.

So the Celtics are into the Finals. Will be a tough team to beat. I'd say they are the favourites going in regardless of whether they face LA or the Suns.

Big game today. Will be interesting to see how the Suns react to that sucker punch in Game 5. Could see this series going to a Game 7.

LA seem to have worked out the Suns zone. Odom is the key. Without him I don't think they could work those short baseline passes. Jordan Farmar with a productive half. Ron Ron has been on FIRE haha

LA up 65-53 at halftime.

Well LA end up winning 111-103 but FMD I hate you Sasha. That forearm to Dragic's chin nearly turned the game. Kobe and Fisher were massive in righting the ship. That last Kobe FG was amazing. That was another intense 4th quarter.

Lakers vs Celtics awaits.
