The Daniels one was a bit unusual. He was being double-teamed by Gortat and (I think) Lewis? Didn't seem like an elbow, the only contact to his face I saw was possibly with Gortat's chest...
I love that Howard is either "too nice to win" or "a grub". There's no in between.
Personally, I still lean towards him being too nice! I want him to grub it up more!
yeah i watched the whole game again last night.
daniels one was very weird, i think i hurt his neck because he spun around not realising gortat was right there and his head colided awkardley into gortat.
glen davis' one, that was on purpose for sure. you can see howard on the way down slightly move to his left, right on top of him, his lucky he didn't break his nose.
personally, i praise that type of play in the playoffs.
and i agree, howard needs to add more mongrel to his game, he is too nice.
even when they were down by 20 pouints the other day, coming back from a time out you see him laughing with someone in the crowd and joking around.
he needs to take it a bit more seriously but these last two games he has turned it up a notch.
not only glen david' but he landed on rondo pretty hard and paul pierce copped one in the face, the one where the foul was given to lewis (i think), i was spewing because it would have been good to get him into foul trouble considering we lost two of our big men.
the perkins call was bad.
doesn't matter that it got rescinded, he was ejected in the 2nd quarter.
i garenuee if he played it would have been a different ball game.
sheed had a huge game but again makes too many silly fouls.
the fact that he alwasy complains to the refs just makes him a bigger target.
can't wait for saturday.
again, i wonder what game plan the celtics are going to have for howard.
i am predicting another rough game.
