He took 38 shots (for a PG?!) against PHX and they lost - followed up the next night with 32 shots against Portland, and they lost....way too much hero stuff.

they're now 2 from 5 having just lost to Chicago...

I agree he plays hero ball and take bad shots a lot. I have been an advocate for the thunder trading him for a decent big and a PG that fits with Durant better, one idea I had was Conley and Gasol for Westbrook which worked salary wise. But on face value those stats are insane.

Only 3 players have 4 or more consectutive recorded trip dubs, Westbrook and Magic with 4 and MJ had 7. Pretty special company there.

Theres no way the Grizzles would ever trade Conley and Gasol for Westbrook.

As the old argument goes, Westbrook only makes himself better, not those around him.... fantastic individual stats, but OKC's goal is to get a champsionship, not two consecutive MVP's....
