NBA to crack down on flopping

Interesting to hear this, shouldn't be too hard to enforce, just show NBA officials a picture of this before every game.

That is interesting.

I play bball myself and one of my strengths is drawing a charge. The problem I find with referees (and I think this applies to NBA refs as well) is that they seem reluctant to call the offensive foul unless the defender actually takes a hit and falls down. If you're still on your feet, no matter the contact, they often won't call it. While on the other hand, they're happy to call any slight contact from the defender.

Some players do take it too far though. Vlade Divac made a career out of flopping!

i don't see how you make the definition of a "clear" flop from that of someone looking to take a charge. The first fine they give out will be very important as it would set the standard for what classifies as a dodgy charge and a clear flop.

It's simple, any time a European or South American goes to ground, it's a flop.

Actually, include Jason Collins in that as well.
