Off topic, but yesterday Jalen Rose passed his "biological father" (as Jalen referred to him in the paper), Jimmy Walker, on the all-time scoring list. I thought i'd update that since I had an earlier question about NBA fathers and sons, as well as it reminds me of the story in He Got Game.

"Rose finished with a team-high 26 points and the most important ones — to him — were his 11th and 12th of the game.

Those moved him ahead of his biological — and estranged — father Jimmy Walker on the NBA's all-time scoring list.

"Someone sent me an email this morning telling me," said Rose. "That was my motivation."
