Need another forward for 2010

Hi Guys, I was just looking a souths playing roster, for 2010 and saw a few players that have just been making up the numbers this year

if we just only bought Taylor, I think that we need another as we are losing faalogo and greenfield(dragons)

but players like kidwell and jamie lowe, crossman these players just making up the numbers

I think that kidwell must go or Lowe , is there any young promising forward coming on the market for 2010, just one more second row buy,

Yep we need more NRL forwards not NSW cup forwards.

Hopefully we are chasing someone

wow this is not good, I hope we are also chasing at least two big forwards, kidwell and lowe out ..... if we can resign geddes for 2 more years that would be nice, as I dont think that geddes wont only sign for one,

I thought Scott Geddes played his best football for a long time coming off the bench against Brisbane.
He, Wing & McPherson really added some starch to the go forward when they came on & with Tyrell coming along nicely then we are going into the last rounds of the comp with a very good bench.

I reckon thats plenty of Forwards tbh. Even if one of Cleal or Geddes goes, we are fairly well served imo.

We need to re-sign Geddes or sign a prop who is just as good or better.

We have plenty of back rowers but lack decent props.

No, I think that we need more cause at the moment we have 15 forwards, right, thats what you have named, so we are just limit us to just 11, greenfield gone, frog, lowe, kidwell,.... gone

if my maths are right, we need two teams one for first grade and one for second which is norths,

two teams of 17 = 32 plus if there is injuries, team of 40 players , now out of this team 25 are your top players for the cap. ...so

if we only have 11 even if you include two hookers thats 13 just enough to pack two scrums and only one reserve, that means that we can only have one injury next year,and if we have two more injurys or suspenions then we are playing backs, in our forward pack

we at least need two more forwards, to cover injurys and suspenions and players that are not playing inform

I'm a cowboys fan and if I were you I'd be signing Matt Scott. I understand we haven't yet! Scott Tronc is in the same boat.

You can't really count Norths. They have a couple of Forwards of their own on the books.

Out of all those named, how many have we used?

Greenfield and Cleal haven't seen any time in firsts and Crossman has played about 20 minutes this season.

I would say that if we have Cleal and Geddes for next year and considering that Crossman has a year to run, that should see us through. I honestly reckon we had too many forwards this year. Maybe we should sign just one more prop but that would be it for mine.

Tronc is going very well for the Cowboys. I heard he's off to the UK, but if he isn't committed and he'd be open to heading south (no pun intended), then I'd look at him.

Surely Cowboys will retain at least one of Scott or Tronc. They lost Cashmere from last year and apparently Webb is heading off too. They need someone carting the ball.
