Strongly disagree Briza, if you read the specs fron Intel you'll find that the new Celerons are identical to the P4's but have half the level 2 cache disabled and sell for less than half the price.

I've bought several Celerons over the years and have found them to be as good and P3/P4's at the same clock speed. I now have a P4 2.0Ghz and a Celeron 2.4Ghz and the Celeron eats it for gaming and DVD ripping and cost $200.00 less.

For gaming in particular, all the hard work is done by you video card anyway so spend the extra money on a decent card.

Check out http://www.tomshardware.com/ and read some of their reviews about the Celeron's performance compared to the P3/P4's.

They've been praising them for years...

Get Bent :twisted: ,Considering the amount of time it has taken me to get a quote from the local dicks,I requested a quote from 6 different places here & I recieved 1 reply & that was after 8 days & 2 additional phone calls.
Dragon suggested I try this mob in Sydney,I did & liked what I saw,built my computer the way I wanted it(not told by the local mob that I can't have that cause they don't stock it),paid my deposit & within 15 MINS recieved a reply
